Black Horse Farm Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite

Fantastic stop near the Euro tunnel. Great dog run area. Toilets and showers were very clean. Lovely warm welcome from the staff.

This is a campsite, so the rooms I rated are the top washrooms (near reception), washing up room, reception and information room. I gave them 3 because this whole block is getting tired and it shows, needs a bit more than a lick off paint to sort it out.The wardens, although didn't see much of them this trip, are great, happy to help and will always go the extra mile. They try really hard with the difficult and demanding job they have. Knocked a star off because of the abysmal wi-fi! Couldn't even send a message to say I'd arrived without it falling off and having to log on again and again and again!The location is great if you're off abroad and are going across the channel on a ferry from Dover or closer still of your going on the tunnel across to Calais. Also a good base to explore this bit of England if you've never done that before, there's lots to see. We go back on a yearly basis and will continue so to do.

Great campsite, ideal for ferries to France. They have ferry pitches for anytime arrival or leaving. Facilities good and clean. Staff friendly. Have used before, will use again

This site is close for Dover ferry and Eurotunnel. The facilities on site need a bit of tlc. I'm thinking that's because of the fast busy turnover. Okay for a one night ferry pitch

This is a large site with plenty of mature trees and quite a big dog walking area. The facilities blocks show their age, but are clean and everything works as it should.There is a convenience store and a pub across the road. It's worth making a reservation if you want to have dinner at the pub as it can get quite busy in the evening.The main road outside the site is a race track, but can't be heard from the site. A lot of people stop here prior to getting le shuttle (it's very convenient) so be prepared for the sounds of people setting off very early

Viditing friends, so stayed a few days.It is a busy site as people are staying over prior to ferry crossings.Lovely camp site, well kept & maintained. Site staff friendly & very helpful. Lovely small off lead dog area, and it's always a bonus for our collies!Would definitely stay again.

Very friendly welcome. We just camped one night ready for the early ferry in the morning. Very nice site and super handy as Very close to chunnel and ferry at dover

Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely, quiet location, very green with lots of shaded areas and loads of rabbits!Perfect stop off for the ferry or shuttle and a great base to explore the area.Shops and pub just over the road, takeaways only 1 mile away.
