Adore Properties Estate Agents Bolton
Had lots of agents around to value, Gemma had done her homework and was the most genuine. No hard sell, no arrogance, honest appraisal and opinion. Easy to contact on mobile if required, good communication throughout after property had been sold with both parties. Excellent all round (also happened to be the cheapest!).

I worked with Adore's staff to sell my house and had a wonderful experience. They were attentive, answered all of my questions in a very timely manner and were both professional and respectful in all of our communications. Even when the solicitors were slow Adore were very supportive and patient. I highly recommend Adore properties.

I would highly recommend Adore properties to sell your home. Their valuation process was simple and a their advice on listing and price was accurate. They provided a number of pricing options which meant their fees were the most competitive in the market for our needs. They asked the right questions when viewing requests were made to reduce ‘time wasters’ and with the property being advertised on Rightmove, it meant we were not impacted by location. The most impressive quality from Adore was the communication. Not once have I needed to chase, they constantly kept me updated and provided a lot of support and advice where needed. It’s made the whole process as painless as possible. Thank you to all the lovely ladies who helped to sell or house!

Adore tried to sell our property a couple of years ago. What an absolute waste of time. Massively over inflated the value of our home, presumably to get us to sign up with them.A number of issues arose in the few months we were signed up with them ...1) Adore did very few viewings themselves.2) Did not listen to us when we asked them to give us atleast 24 hours notice for viewing. We reminded them of this several times and still they continued to try to arrange viewings at an hours notice.3) We became concerned at the lack of viewings and called to discuss the price and maybe taking some different photos. We were completely ignored ... we ended up taking the photos ourselves and sending them to adore to add to the listing.4) Adore regularly sent people who the house just was not suitable for ... infamy for some viewings it felt as though people had been pressured into coming viewing our home when they didnt really want to.We went with another agent as soon as we could get out of the contract ... the house then sold within 2 weeks.Honestly, I wouldn't use Adore again. They take good photos, but I would say that's about as far as it goes.

Adore Properties were the estate agents instructed by the owner of the house we bought. Angela, Gemma and the rest of the team were amazing throughout and did their absolute best to work as a go-between for us and the previous owners. All our queries and questions were answered quickly and clearly. From initial viewing, negotiating a price, all the way to receiving the keys to our new home, the team at Adore were absolutely amazing. I'd recommend Adore to anyone in the area that is looking to put their property on the market.

Bought a property using Adore and have to say the whole team are super efficient and super helpful. Mainly dealt with Gemma and Angela at Adore - they kept us updated regularly and were easy to get in contact with for any queries with the seller, they were always on the ball chasing solicitors for updates too. Their local expertise really shows, I'd highly recommend them to anyone.

We used this estate agents back in the day when it was known as Abode Properties, The company logo remains almost identical, just changed the name, Are they dodging taxes? Hmm...Anyhow, We got a valuation off these guys for our end terrace, which was a two bedroom, they valued it at £119'500, At the time we also had other estate agents around which valued our property at £105k to £110k,So we thought we would give these guys a go and fronted up £995, so what was our experience, well in the 1st 3 months we had 0 viewings so we called them and told them to drop the price of our house to £115k to generate some interest, so we had a few viewings over the next month but nothing serious, so yet again we called them and they recommending dropping the price to £110k which we went along with, again we had a few viewings but one potential buyer, he came around and could not decide between our house and somebody else, What did Adore\Abode do to sway him? NOTHING at all, he ended up purchasing the other house, I was starting to dislike adore\abode, I was annoyed I summed them up as an estate agents that Overinflate the value of your property to get your cash, and once they have got it they do very little to actually sell your property, they seem to hope that it sells itself. So I cancelled with them and went with entwistle green at westhouhgton whom by some miracle managed to sell our property in the space of a month!! for £103k.Have abode\adore changed there tactics since left? not really because where I now live they have again over valued a property a couple of doors away from me right now, they have originally put a house up for £240k but we have seen that the asking price is again steadily dropping, and ive not seen many people viewing the house. I'm at home all day and do not miss a thing. A property next door to me which just recently sold, was sols for £188k and its a bigger house, it might not be as nice inside, BUT it has a considerable more room.My advice, avoid Adore at all costs, they take the money and hope your property sells itself at an overvalued price. Try entwistle green, because when you go in you can see they have massive potential selling power and you can see the ladies there don't mess about when selling properties. Here is an edit for you, i would never ever fake any review and in my most professional opinion for a fake review it tells a really good story. For your Information aswell, Is that i do not need to turn this into a private or public debacle because i remember the fact that me and my wife came into your shop and told you of our displeasure how you take the money and do NOTHING bar advertise the house online and your shop window, you did nothing to sway people to make a purchase, and all you said is we can only recommend lowering our asking price. So don't sit there in your office saying my review is fake or malicious, me and my wife came and saw you face to face.I am pretty sure that other people would agree that this review is not fake either with the amount of information given here.PS, i have multiple E-mails and accounts hence why i have not seen your comment for 5 years and this one is not my primary one.Good luck and Goodbye.

A very disappointing experience. The main point we have learned from our dealings with Adore Bolton, is not to agree to a fixed term with an estate agent.Massive positivity from Adore about how beautiful our home was and the listing price which they recommended being said to be realistic and achievable, quickly turned into weeks of disappointment once signed up.Once signed up, we didn’t get a single viewing. For context, the listing has been live for just under 8 weeks. There were various excuses - school holidays, it is quiet at the moment, there are a lot of similar properties, interest rates have gone up, etc.Things didn’t start well. The listing went live with gloomy photos. The lead photo chosen by Adore, was a front / side view with all the bins in full view. Why they weren’t moved out of shot we don’t know. We ended up taking and sending photos ourselves to put on.There was no floor plan with the property when the listing went live. When we chased this up, it was very inaccurate when it went live. We ended up doing the floor plan ourselves which they uploaded. The initial listing going live, is an opportunity to get keen eyes on it and interest. How poor the listing was, missed a massive opportunity in our opinion.Even small things like the for sale sign went wrong, with it being put up next door but one.In less than a month, they were suggesting we may need to look at the asking price. This was an asking price they recommended and which they believed was realistic and achievable. We checked the contract to end it and in the small print there is a 30 day notice period, admin fee, and a minimum 8 week period for them to exclusively market. We gave notice and asked them to agree to end the term early but they refused and held us to the full term. We believed that holding us to the remaining weeks of the agreement was wasting our time and theirs but they insisted. We sought to exit amicably and early. Adore refusing to end the agreement early, we let them know we would share our experience with a review. This was met with the reply “I would like to remind you that the publication of false or misleading reviews can have legal implications.” A nice thinly veiled threat of legal action! We were going to leave the review as 2 stars until this was dropped in!There is nothing false or misleading in this review. It is our experience.** Updated following the response of Mr Mullen **After multiple times of asking for them to release us from the remaining term, they finally agreed and we are finally free of them! The response of the owner is typical of the attitude you get if you challenge Adore or are bold enough to raise criticisms of a poor service. And to be frank, the experience we had was shocking. If considering appointing an agent in the area, speak to a good number and assess for yourself who will be a good fit. And question any agent that wants to lock you in for an extended period. There is nothing inaccurate in the initial review or this update. Everything was accurate at the time of the initial review and this update clarifies things.
