I went on the guided tour of Berlin and was in Andrews group. It was a fantastic experience and very in depth. Andrew is definitively the best tour guide I have ever had, he is intriguing and charismatic and very helpful. He also explains things in a relatively simplistic manner, making everything all the more engaging. Very happy with the tour and Andrew was brilliant!

We have used Anglia tours for over a decade running school trips to the WW1 battlefields and Berlin and they are excellent. The guides we use have been outstanding and the good thing is you can request the guides you have worked with in the past which means you can build up a really good rapport. I would recommend them to schools-particularly strong on WW1. We use them for Berlin, Munich and Nurumberg trips and they have also been good for these trips too.

Allan Wood, a phenomenal historian. Knows his subjects down to the very 'T'. His very unique perspective on history even positively challenged my own view point. Amazing experience.

I have nothing but the highest praise for Anglia. The guides are knowledgeable, friendly, professional and great team players. I have worked with them on over a dozen trips to the WW1 Battlefields and Berlin since 2007 and have never had a bad experience. I moved school a few years ago and immediately encouraged my new Head of History to work with Anglia. We have now had a number of tours with them and they have all been resounding successes. The guides build excellent relationships with the students in a very short space of time and my students will often refer to the trips run by Anglia Tours as being some of their best memories of school. The level of support provided in advance of the trip by the Anglia Staff in the UK is also excellent and they certainly take a great deal of the stress out of organising a school trip. I would highly recommend working with Anglia for any teachers looking to run overseas trips.

We have used Anglia Tours for a number of years. The guides are fantastic and the tours are easy to sort out. There is expert guidance when setting up a trip and all the little things you won't think of are sorted by the company prior to you going. We use them for a full year group trip and smaller GCSE/A level tours and they work equally well.

Just taken 41 students to Berlin with Anglia Tours. This was my 13 tour with Anglia and it was fantastic. The students had a brilliant time learning about the rise of the Nazi Party through to the Cold War, with a focus on the ethics of war and human rights. From the initial booking Anglia organised all three of our days and they were jam packed, as a teacher I just had to look after the students, which meant a much less stressful residential. Can't wait to book next years trip.I can not recommend them more highly.

The whole trip was an absolutely incredible experience that I emerged from with a newfound interest in ww1 and lots of new knowledge. Our tour guide, John, was an excellent source if information who always answered our questions. He was clearly very passionate about the subject which was then passed on to all of us. My College has been using Anglia Tours for years. A superb service tailored by Anglia to our particular needs. Anglia staff are very experienced and flexible, able to adapt our tours to suit changing weather conditions on the ground and the ability of pupils. It is like having additional members of staff from my own College there, it isn't a case of the guides and the staff, we all work together. Unreservedly recommended

We used to run tours by ourselves, but quite a few years ago swapped to Anglia, and it is the best decision we could have made. Anglia tailor their tours around our requirements and expectations. The guides are superb - incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and professional. It makes a real difference to our kids to hear from former soldiers; they can make the tragedy of war more relatable, and in Berlin can speak from personal experience of the Cold War. By the time they leave school, our pupils all still say that the battlefields tour is the best they have been on. Cannot recommend highly enough.
