I went in there today to find out about a membership. The guy behind the counter was super helpful and friendly he let me take a look around the gym it looked clean with plenty of equipment to use. I'm thinking of signing up with the Ivybridge club, and then I will be able to use both

First class well equiped gym, friendly helpful staff, great place too train regardless of abilities always help on hand if needed, ive used a lot of gyms in Plymouth over the years, this is by far the best.

Unpretentious gym that I gave been a member of for years now (though I don't use it as often as I should!) Caters well both for CV workout (treadmills, cross-trainers, bikes etc.) upstairs and weights (mostly downstairs). They seem to keep equipment well maintained and the gents showers and changing room always seem clean and functional. This is a local, independent business that tends not to attract the posers" so whatever your size and shape

Fantastic gym. Even more so when you factor in the price. If they would get rid of the crappy smith machine and get another power rack (they have 3 racks at the moment) and Olympic bar it would be amazing!

A nice gym in a central location. The gym staff are very welcoming and always happy to answer any questions. Good facilities especially for the price of a membership.

I’ve been a member at McCaulay’s for 9 years now and out of all the gyms I’ve tried in this time, McCaulay’s is easily the best. The staff are amazing and they always make you feel like part of the family. The range of equipment is great and it only gets “too busy” for about two hours of the day. Amazing gym!

Amazing gym with amazing staff! Been going for years and they have really gone above and beyond to make the place welcome for everyone with major refurbs and new equipment being brought in year round. Never have trouble getting on kit and is rarely busy during the day times!I would recommend this place over any other gym in Plymouth for general workouts but also more specific training programs and classes!
