Tattershall Station Gallery and Pottery

Been a firm fan of this place for the past 2.5 years for pottery lessons. Lessons can be structured or free flowing depending on your own experiences and what you want to gain. I have learnt to construct simple items (bowles, plates, cups and vases) and also have gained the confidence to construct my own designs using the skills i have learnt from Arthur both on the potters wheel and hand building. I adore my lessons, they are relaxing, and Arthur has a lovely well equipped studio to use and he is an experienced and patient tutor. Would recommend anyone to pop in for an informal chat and give it a go!

Four of us spent a wonderful day at the Tattershall Station Gallery and Pottery as a Mother’s Day gift from our daughters. We learned how to throw pots and make slab pottery. Arthur is a creative and encouraging instructor and we were surprised and pleased at what we were able to achieve with just a few hours training. The atmosphere at the gallery is warm and friendly and Arthur made us all feel right at home. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Great pottery classes with Arthur. Expert instruction but also freedom to work on projects and develop design abilities. Small classes of 2-4 people.

Fabulous afternoon Pottery Experience'! Beautiful gallery!Arthur was a brilliant teacher. We had not thrown clay before and just look at the beautiful pots we made. The last picture of pots were all mine to take home. Such good value for money!He runs weekly classes too.I cannot recommend it enough.The gallery had a large range of items in it all create by Arthur from beautiful watercolours to computer drawn images. He also sold pots and plates and jugs etc that he had made."

When I went to visit the Old Station located on Sleaford Road, walking on the up platform to access the former booking office that's now an Art & Pottery Gallery brings back such great memories. I also think it's absolutely astounding that the station exists today as a private residence.

Excellent range of owners Art and Ceramic work on display - prices to suit all visitors. Off road parking very useful. Fascinating history of building. Extensive online sales catalogue as well, but if you are anywhere near Woodhall Spa, Coningsby or Tattershall you should call in. Owner most kind and helpful.

I have weekly pottery lessons at Tattershall Station Gallery and Pottery and have made some lovely creations with Arthurs help! Arthur is very patient, enthusiastic and encouraging. I would thoroughly recommend it.
