We would like to thank Reece and all his staff for giving us such an amazing wedding meal.We only had small wedding with just ourselves and two friends but we could not have asked for anymore. Our table was all decorated and ready for us in the room beside the bar ... we were left on our own and they kept the public away from us so we could enjoy our day privately...Reece and his staff were so attentive and helpful and so kind.Thank you guys for our amazing meal and looking after us..Love Julie and Steve..xx

Partner and I visited for a Carvery. Signs dotted around the building indicated that the Carvery was soon to close down - and after eating it, we both knew why. Only two meats to choose from - one of which had been cooked so long it resembled rubber. Overheard a customer on a nearby table complaining at the lack of turkey - the manager actually told the customer that they should have called and asked for some turkey to be saved for them ... I mean who rings a Carvery and request some meat to be saved?! Aunt Bessies stuffing balls, Aunt Bessies roasties - If we wanted cheap frozen food, we would of made it at home. Had to wait for a while whist they caught up cooking the vegetables. How do you not have enough on stand by ready to exchange when you can see it getting low? They are soon to undergo a major refurb - I would suggest a refurb of the food also!

I ordered a roast dinner which was okay" you need a good sharp knife to cut through the broccoli. My daughter ordered the southern fried chicken burger

Amazing place. Too bad it is not advertised and the location is not exactly...central. Prices were a bit high for the location but they use home made, farm grown products. First place in Leeds I had real home made sausages. The ambient is warming and welcoming, plenty of space both indoor and outdoor.

Well what can I say about this place my partner booked a table as we was getting married in two days later but our final meal before our wedding so I phoned them up and asked them if they can do something nice for her when we get there. They put on the table a bottle of wine and a rose and then after pudding they brought out a board saying congratulations on.I would highly recommend this place thank you so much for a lovely meal and your hospitality photos attached

We went here for an 80th birthday party. The reserved area we were in was much nicer than the main pub/bar area. The service was good (there was a short wait on the reserved side of the bar), the food was really delicious too. The toilet on the reserved side was much nicer than the one in the main area!! It's about what you'd expect the price of pub grub to be.

I do hope the still pending renovation is considerable throughout all areas of the place and to a decent standard, as it's sorely needed. I also wish the decent carvery comes back at the original standard as before they withdrew the carvery option recently it had become less enjoyable than the well known opposition chain and that's arguably not saying much. The staff are the only real positive left, who were all attentive and welcoming. My son was a bit disappointed that the wooden play area was gone for the renovations in recent visits but hopefully they'll make a better one later on? Not sure if there's any room now though and will probably only chance a visit one more time once the renovations are finally complete with hope.

Took a chance on this place last minuet on a Sunday at 8pm,The greeting staff were lovely the kitchen staff stacked out plates, and the food was and not to be rude (car parked looked a bit ‘tier killy’) at all but a surprising delight will be going back!
