Something has changed at Martin Robey? - I called and spoke to a grumpy parts guy yesterday who was a real 'happy soul' - I spent ages reeling off a list of parts we required to fix a good customers car. Mr grumpy promised to call me back and never did and left me sitting by the phone with my customer awaiting prices......that never came. So a waste of time and money waiting for a call that never came. one out ten for effort!I then phoned back today and spoke to a much friendlier sounding chap in parts. He explained the chap who I dealt with previously was away at lunch (which I wasn't upset about to be honest)....but he couldn't help me with prices and availability due to having to go and collect his daughter.....so can I call back later???Sorry its not good enough Martin Robey.I had our valued very good customer back sat in front of me again today and once again was left with egg on my face as I once again couldn't obtain basic pricing and availability of standard parts for a Jaguar XK engine.So we won't be calling back a third time......David Manners simply offer a far better service and I only called Robey because Manners were engaged and I was in a bit of a rush to price up some work for a highly valued customer of our garage.I now know why David Manners were engaged and Martin Robey weren't.I hate leaving poor feedback...we really do. But perhaps it takes having to do this to make a business realise that they have to make sure parts people call customers back when they say they will, they can't allow parts people to have a cold attitude on the phone.....also don't have people answering the phone who can't help because they need to collect their children. We all have children here too....but with our business, the customer comes first.We don't plan to use Martin Robet again....we can't afford a sloppy service that makes as look like amateurs in front of our customers.Gutted to leave a one star, but it was well earned I'm disappointed to say.

Nearest thing to a one-stop-shop for classic Jaguar parts. When something breaks while fixing something else, we look on Martin Robey's very clear parts 'map', find it, order it (orders get checked v quickly), cfm with payment and it's there invariably the next day. And I think the prices are competitive

BE WARNED!!’ Go elsewhere if you are looking to buy body panels for an Etype. Martin Robey previously agreed to refund me for a bonnet pressing as the quality was so so poor, however I am still waiting on the refund for its freight and the $150 box it was freighted in. I don’t think that will be forthcoming given the request was made some months ago. Further the front wing panels are so poorly made that my panel beaters gave up using them after having spent 30/40 hours to try to get them to fit correctly, contrary to the advises received from Martin Robey my view is they are not fit for purpose. They are too long, 20mm to deep so they don’t fit to the sill without having to cut and re roll the bottom edge, the headlight fitment is deplorable and the indicator location is 25/30mm out of its correct location. They think that to have cut that section and weld it to its correct location and then lead load is acceptable. I don’t agree and they have refused to refund me for these panels. I have no issue in having to make some adjustments to get panels to fit correctly but these are so bad you they are not worth buying in my opinion. STAY WELL CLEAR!!! Refer the images below the panels they supplied don’t even look an Etype!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED SAVE YOUR SELF THE COST, DELAYS IN CONSTRUCTION AND HEARTACHE IN DOING BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS!!!!!

I have used the company several times and have always found them to be very helpful and knowledgeable.I purchased a new windscreen today and I can not praise Derek enough for his assistance, he is Assett to the team,, in the past when I employed over 50 people I would have been very lucky to have such an employee.

We have spent £1000s with Robey Jaguar and Jensen over the past few months and had a very slow response each time. This time we have missed a deadline due to no parts arriving on time.Very dissappointing and unexpected - difficult times for all at present!
