I left my fender stratocaser Pro 2 with Dave. He transformed it to be a guitar which is an absolute delight to play. This man is very skilled and friendly. It took me two previous Luthiers before I found this talent which is Dave. Thanks a million Dave.

Just got home from taking my Tokai Tele to Dave for a little check up of the electrics. Must say, although we’d spoken before, the visit today was completely unexpected and unplanned. I was in the area and dropped into Dave at literally 10 minutes notice! Suffice to say, Dave dropped what he was doing and opened up the control plate to find the neck pickup wire had become detached - after a swift solder and general clean up, it was back to its former glory and will serve me well for a few more gigs!!! This was the first time I’d actually met Dave and instantly knew he had a wealth of knowledge and experience and felt assured that he would be able to help me out. Thanks Dave, really appreciate your support and won’t hesitate to give you a call for future guitar work.

I took my new Ovation guitar to Dave to have a complete overhaul. I am very impressed with his work. He informed me on any problems there was and how he was going to fix it. The finished product was fabulous. I thought the guitar sounded great when I left it with him, but now it has a sound I thought I’d never have. I have used Dave's services a couple of times now and I have to say he is now my go to guy for any issues with my guitars.He first setup my daughters entry level electroacoustic and turned it from a pretty much unplayable energy zapper to a great feeling and sounding guitar that is a pleasure to pick up, so comfortable and enjoyable to play. After seeing Dave's great work on this I took my Yamaha APX down to him as it wasn't playing, sounding and feeling quite right, Dave made a few adjustments and even showed a how to adjust the truss rod myself (something I had previously had a fear of) he explained what had happened and what he had done to bring it back to a sweet guitar to play again.Since using Dave's services and his easy to follow and easy to understand advice, I have my passion back to play and now know how to take better care of my guitars.I cannot recommend this guy and his brilliant service and wealth of knowledge highly enough.A brilliant service by a great guy and really easy to talk to and super approachable.A great service you can trust and rely on.Thanks Dave.

I called Dave this morning regarding an issue with my Telecaster. He asked me to bring it straight into his workshop in order that he could assess the problem. He's extremely knowledgeable and makes it easy to explain and understand any problems.Sorted the issue in no time.I'd certainly recommend him and can't complain at his rates.Five Stars!

Dave worked on my Epiphone Casino recently and I am extremely pleased with the results, its sounding better than ever.

A friend recommended Dave's Guitar Services. My Taylor acoustic needed some tweaks to remove a very slight buzz, which has been annoying me for a while now. Called Dave and went around. It's now finally fixed. Highly recommend Dave, no matter how big or small the problem.

I couldn't resit buying a lovely Epiphone Les Paul Junior earlier this week. Despite being a beautiful guitar the action was a little too high for my playing. Dave gave the guitar a thorough check over, adjusted the frets, dressed the fingerboard, smoothed off the fret edges and also adjusted the nut. With a new set of strings, I now have a guitar with an incredibly low action and plays like a dream. Dave explained in detail all that he had done and took the time to ensure that I was completely satisfied before I left. Very friendly, professional and reasonably priced. I Would highly recommend Dave to anybody that has a guitar that's in need of a little bit of TLC.
