Renovating and radically extending a house to turn it into a family home in an area with local sensitivities due to the impact of any devlopment on a site with extensive coastal/ sea views was a challenge. Andrew was excellent from the outset and instilled deserved confidence from our initial consultation around design, through the to the planning application and beyond. Our application saw a tidal wave of local opposition but Andrew's calm reasurance and professionalism gave us confidence to weather the storm through to full planning consent. His intelligent design strategy and solid planning experience took much of the emotional stress away from us. We are now building our new home based on the full consent granted for his design and look forward to completing our wonderful journey in months to come. From the outset Andrew worked diligently on preparing the plans for the building project, providing expert advice on design options available to us. He worked with great energy and commitment in pulling together detailed plans - and provided hugely helpful guidance towards the selection of a builder by providing contacts for those with whom he had previous successful working experience. He made himself available at all times making communication very straight forward. We couldn't have hoped for better input.
