My family & I had such a delicious meal at Dal Patino ! Such a nice welcoming restaurant service was great ! Authentic Italian cuisine highly recommend!!!

This is obviously a family run business, and run how the father/ chef wants to run it !Food is good quality, fresh and well prepared. Unfortunately my wife doesnt like chilli in her food, so checks the menu and the dishes ingredients to prevent issues.So ordered calamari for starter, no mention of chilli. It had chilli and was more like a soup, so it was badly described on menu.2nd course, a pasta ( no mention if chilli), what did it contain, eh chilli. So they took it back made another without chilli, no problem !So experience was spoiled by this issue. My food was excellent !!

First time visiting this restaurant and couldn’t have been more disappointed. The owner was rude and aggressive towards myself and my mum.We headed for the toilet before getting assigned a table as they were busy and no one was on the door to greet us. The owner followed us into the bathroom then psychically removed us and told us to get out, Without even asking if we were waiting to be seated. He pushed us out using force (with his hands) and proceeded to shout at us from the door as we walked away in disbelief.Never in my 22 years have I ever been treated this way when going into a restaurant. The disrespect this man has for customers it’s unreal. Will never be back and will advise not to come to this place.

Food was fabulous but unfortunately not enough staff to cover the tables. The starters came quite quickly but we waited just under two hours for our main courses. This would have been fine however other tables who had came in well after us had their starters and mains well before us. We had to ask for another drink as that wasn't forthcoming. Again, the food was fabulous.

From what I witnessed today was completely unacceptable customer service, One of the staff members where physically putting their hands on a young women and trying to stop her from using the toilet today, he then started using foul language towards her as she left. Do not eat here if you are young as you will be abused by staff.

Absolutely delighted with the food, service, all of it.Authentic Italian food and drink in the heart of Musselburgh. Food is nothing less than delicious, great wine selection and desserts to kill for. Will definitely visit again if only to try delightful food I couldn't physically try tonight.5/5

Outstanding authentic Italian cuisine! We could see our chef cooking it all fresh for us. Great service and outstanding value for money, only wish they had a restaurant in Gerrards Cross!
