Installed a new extraction system in May 2017 and they forgot to install a speed control. They came and they installed it finally after many phone calls and it was always the wrong type. At the third attempt the fan blew up and they claim it wasn't their fault after just 9 months. Probably the worst company I have ever dealt with

We contacted Ventam in October 2013 to install a ventilation system in our new restaurant. From the beginning there have been issues with the workmanship which have required multiple revisits/repairs. November 2014, the last such visit resulted in our staff being met with abusive behavior, which is completely unacceptable.As we were under warranty, you would expect a recurring faulty product (which in this case was a canopy light), to be quickly removed and replaced, the recurring problem identified and solved. Instead, our notification of the recurring problem to Ventam Systems was only dealt with after 5 weeks of multiple chasing-up efforts on our part. Now in 2017, the light is still unfixed (and during health and hygiene inspection in April was giving comments for it not being fixed) and the extractor fan isn't strong enough (what they recommended) and seeps smoke into the restaurant.In addition, the tech worker dispatched to our site made disparaging remarks to our staff, showed intimidating behavior, and ultimately his repairs came undone within 3 days. This individual contacted us earlier in the day and the conversation led us to believe that our best interests as customers were not being served. We contacted the technical manager, Lawrence, expressed our concern, and was told not to worry - we had the right worker for the job.That we at Pickle & Rye would be subjected to harassing behavior for requesting a faulty product to be replaced not once, but twice, while under warranty is disappointing. That I would have a canopy light detach during Sunday brunch, sending plastic shards into food and onto cooking surfaces 3 days after being repaired is deplorable. And to have management ignore a customer's concerns, leading to such eventualities is nearly unthinkable.

Installation of Fresh Air Supply Fan, Two Fan speed controllers and one Ventam 75/85 Gas Interlock System at Hazelgrove Nursing Home Brighton on 8th April 2020Copy email to Laurence Burke: Ventam Systems Ltd DirectorGood Afternoon Laurence,I just thought I’d take this opportunity to drop you a brief email following the recent works undertaken by Ventam Systems Ltd at Hazelgrove Nursing Home Brighton on Wednesday 8th April 2020.As you know the work requested was the replacement of a Ventam 75/85 Gas Interlock System, the installation of a fresh air fan, two fan speed controllers and indeed problem solving on some previously adapted / modified control wiring and adjustment to a cooker gas pipework.Your engineers Mr. Bill Mitchell and son Ben Mitchell and indeed demonstrated a very high level of professionalism and competence dealing with the situation.The work was conducted in an excellent manner and the guys cleared up after the works were completed.The system was demonstrated as functioning perfectly as per design and on behalf of Hazelgrove Nursing home, I would like to extend much appreciation and gratitude for the excellent service and work received.These engineers are indeed a credit to Ventam Systems Ltd.Please pass on my appreciation and all the best for the future.

I contacted Ventam when my Gas Interlock system failed to perform correctly. I was beside myself! I operate an in-house catering facility at an NHS Ambulance 999 and 111 national call centre. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic this site is super busy and the overworked staff need somewhere to eat, drink and relax. This morning i arrive at work, ready to prepare and cook for my customers. For the first time in 12 years the gas would not flow!!! I carried out the usual checks with no success.I contacted Ventam Systems for help, and help I got! Over the phone, a gentleman named Laurence was able to talk me through a succesful get around and resolution to my plight. Amazing!I dont often leave reviews, however I was so impressed with Ventams knowledge, guidance and empathy I felt this one is deserved and warranted.Thank you Laurence you're a star.
