James is a superb drum teacher who was able to take this older “set in his ways” drummer and bring discipline, technique and fun back into learning. Highly recommended.

James is a good tutor with an enthusiasm for drumming and agreed to help me out with cajon lessons. He’s obviously a very good drummer himself, and he’s got me to a point where I can play a decent groove on my cajon in a couple of lessons. Lessons are good fun, and James has a professional setup and a space where we can make plenty of noise, so it’s all good. The little video clips are very useful when I want to practise between sessions.
