We very recently used J&T McColgan for my beloved mum's funeral. Their service is outstanding. As a family, we have no hesitation in recommending them. Each member of the team was very professional and yet so understanding and caring throughout. We felt that we received a personal, caring, and attentive service. Along with 4 male family members I wanted to be a pall bearer for my mum as did my niece. It was our first time being pall bearers and with the very gentle care and guidance we received from Jane on how to lift the coffin etc we were able to do this. My family and I were very impressed with the service we received from J & T McColgan after my dad's passing. They exceeded our expectations at every stage with a very professional, yet personal service. From the initial phone call to George, who was calm and reassuring, we immediately knew that J & T McColgan were our first choice. George is very knowledgeable and well connected so was able to give immediate answers to most questions and very quick to come back on anything else, which was very comforting at such an emotional and stressful time. We were saddened when George told us that he would be on annual leave from the next day. However, when Jane (the owner) took over from George the next day, the same professional and personal service continued. Both George and Jane went the extra mile at every stage, organising so many things that we expected to have to deal with ourselves. This made an extremely difficult time that bit more bearable. Everything on the day was seamless. The drivers were very caring and compassionate and truly professional. Beautiful cars with panoramic sky view which was very touching as we followed my dad in the hearse. Jane's top hat and cane added that little something extra to the kind of send-off my dad deserved. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts ♥️

I cannot speak highly enough of George and the team for their handling of my father's funeral. Nothing was too much trouble and they guided my brother and I through every step. Professional and empathetic at the same time, George also took additional steps personally to ensure everything ran to plan. They bent over backwards to meet our requirements and requests My father was very well cared for during the period before his burial, and visiting him in the parlour was never a problem I have to give a special mention to George Dodds Thank you for your patience and help My father would have been proud of the goodbye he received
