I reserved a 4x4 online and was invitied in for a test drive when it arrived in stock. A couple of faults were identifed and fixed pre-delivery; a couple more faults showed up afterwards and so it had to go back to the workshop two or three times. I guess this happens sometimes in the second-hand market, but the Avanti team were great throughout the whole process and obviously determined to make sure I was happy with the vehicle. Would I buy from them again? Definitely.

Had a brilliant experience buying from Avanti. The process was very speedy and professional, turn around was a few weeks from me turning up without an appointment to getting the car.The car (BMW 220d) has been great and their checks and professionalism covered everything, and I would recommend them to others.Only 4 Stars due to who they chose for the warranty. A1 Approved is the worst I have ever dealt with, they will ONLY pay out for complete failures of covered components. If you notice something wrong do get it diagnosed until it breaks if you get this warranty.My steering rack has started knocking, sure wear and tear but hasn't failed but can and probably will if not addressed. Got this checked by a garage and put through to my warranty company which has come back and said they WILL NOT cover it as it has not failed and will not cover it now i know its an issue. Utter Scam this warranty company is, they won't payout, do not get the warranty!

The worse automotive company! Went to see a car and put a £500 deposit down that day. There was a noise coming from the gearbox which I asked them to sort before I pick up the car. I was promised a quick turnaround (like 2 weeks) as that’s what they prided themselves in. However, the mechanic they use couldn’t diagnose the noise that easily. It took over 3 months which resulted in a new gearbox being installed to stop the noise. During the 3 months, I was constantly contacting them for an update. They did not attempt otherwise to keep me updated on progress. Every time I called, they were either busy with other customers, not in the office or a meeting. I would request a phone call every time which was never fulfilled. Terrible customer service. When the noise was sorted, I was happy that I could finally pick up the car but NO! No one bothered to tell me that my finance application had expired and I would need to fill it out again. You would think that they would contact you and tell you there and then re-apply so the minute the car is ready, I can just pick it up straight away. It had been long enough as it is. I again had to wait for the finance application to go through. This time it was rejected due to my credit score being lower than the first time I applied. I paid some loans off which lowers your credit score for a short period before going up again. At this point, I was understandably furious with how this whole situation was dealt with. A lot of things could have been done to save my time (constantly contacting them and filling out finance applications) and make it more of an exciting time. Purchasing a car shouldn’t be stressful like this. I requested my deposit back for them messing me about. They refused to give me back my deposit as “l WASTED their time and they spent a lot of money on the car.” Well, the work was required for starters, so even if someone else brought the car they would have made their money on it. After arguments, they were only willing to give me half of my deposit back. Even then I had to constantly contact them to send the money. After over 6 calls and emails, they finally sent the money. They have taken no responsibility for the way the situation was dealt with and become rude towards the end. This in total has been going on for 10 months. They took £250 of mine and I got aggro in return.

Bought a car from avanti car looks lovely outside but mechanically piece of junk they sold it to me with a wheel bearing completely gone clutch making hell of a noise had them done. Now the top mount has gone had it fixed a d garage said the coil spring had been fitted upside-down rang and spoke to sales team never returned my phone calls email MD of avanti still no reply so of you think about buying a car from them checking over throughly and get a third party to look at it first.im speaking to trading standards about this just waiting on response. Be carefully people very carefull
