I actually had a really lovely service. All of the staff were lovely and I really liked my stylist.Unfortunately I had to take my extensions out last night after only having them placed in on Thursday.They were installed so tightly and constantly pulled my hair and I was unable to even move the weft up and down. The salon told me how to loosen them but they were also sewn together, it was almost impossible to try and rectify it before my wedding.The hair was not great quality at all, and I purchased two packs of it which I also didn’t need. I did tell the salon about this but received no response. The stylists even questioned if I had purchased it from them as they were confused as to why the two packs were so different in texture - they were unable to wash and detangle it themselves, so gave it back to me in a bag, wet, and still tangled.Within 4 days the hair was so matted and due to the method used my hair was entangled within it also.I have lost a lot of hair during the removal process when I already had very very fine/thin hair due to postpartum hair loss. I don’t believe this was the correct method for my hair type.Overall the total service including hair cost me around £400, and I wore the hair for a week. It looked absolutely beautiful for my wedding but the long term damage and amount of poor quality hair I have left over unfortunately means I cannot justify returning, which is a shame as I did enjoy my salon experience.

I got a braided weave with a perimeter leave-out for versatility. The staff are friendly and there’s a clean environment. However, after leaving the salon, I quickly noticed some problems. My head shape looked odd when in a hairband, and also there were sections where the tracks took too long to dry after washing, even the dyson hairdryer couldn’t completely dry it after an hour. My sister fixed part of the issue by removing a long track that the stylist had folded in half and sewn at the top of my head. There's another area where I suspect the same issue with a doubled track and I can't properly wash & dry my scalp in that area. Also bear in mind, I asked for a natural weave. I've decided to have it removed as it doesn’t work for me.*Update* — Thanks for your response. I had full perimeter leave out, including the back so that I could put it up. If the weaves are only done one way then the salon isn’t for me.

Had my first appointment here today and I’m already excited to book my next service!Ethlda did my wash and trim. She was really good and gave me advice on how to look after my natural hair, as well as the different types of treatments I can get.Jennifer then did my sew in with leave out and styled it afterwards. She was honestly amazing and was very attentive. She also recommended me with lots of products and after care which I purchased.The overall service was brilliant, efficient and well organised. As a first time customer, I felt so welcomed and comfortable.I will definitely be back and highly recommend to others!

Long overdue follow up review. I first went to House of Hair UK just before my wedding for the Avalon texture release. 2 weeks later, I was back again for my LA weave install days before my wedding. I’d dyed my hair back dark but the colour was wrong, the lovely owner Ayanda went above and beyond to colour my hair and ensure I had the exact right shade before my install! Cannot recommend this place more and look forward to coming back!!

I got my hair done for the 1st time at House of Hair and was very pleased with the outcome. Hair was the best it ever looked! Not only that but my stylist Yasmin was amazing! She was so friendly, welcoming and really took her time to execute what we were trying to achieve. I would highly recommend this hair salon and Yasmin as a well experienced hairdresser. Thank you & appreciate your friendly aura which is important when you are spending money on a service. Great service overal! Will be back again x

I had my hair done by the new stylist, Shae this weekend and am so happy with the result! I had LA weave removal wash and reinstall and my hair feels soft again and so natural. I was offered drinks throughout and the service I received was very attentive and meticulous. 10/10 !!

I have been going to House of Hair since May, it is the epitome of a luxury experience. All the stylists are very knowledgeable & very passionate about hair I have never had a question go unanswered, they recommend tools & products (even if they don’t sell it they will tell you where you can get it from). Overall just the vibe in the salon is amazing, just so fun & welcoming.

Always love coming here to get my hair done. The ladies are very professional and my hair looks great each time I leave. Highly recommend!

I like to give everything a second chance. I should have listened to my gut instincts after the first fiasco last year.Twice I have tried to book here and its messy. 1st time was a stroke of luck it went through without a hiccup for a minor service. Even after the service I was still contacted about the same consultation but the appointment had passed.Second time. Cancelled with no explanation or trying to even fit me in same day alternatives. Plans are made based on the booking system. If its not accurate, why have one?I won't bother again. Its like they have a slight issue with you using your own hair also.
