This good and FREE car park is at the other end of the village (opposite the village hall) - it is well signposted as you come out of the village from the pub and churchThe road is good and signed again and the road surface is good and looks newWellow is a good place for walking and cyclingAs with all car parks you will need to take the necessary precautions (ensure it is locked, valuables are out of sight)Photos of what to look for when driving there (signs) and how well it is used (on Good Friday 2019)It is good to have a car park that is FREE

Plenty of space around 10am when we got there and decent surface for parking and free. Access road is single-track for a way. A good place to start a hike.

Brilliant free car park in Wellow on old Somerset and Dorset railway land, very useful as a base when going on walks around the local area. Plenty of spaces, and grass area at the end suitable for picnics in the right conditions.
