Great playground for young children. When the water park is actually open, that's good too.There's plenty of space topicnic and a small cafe serving drinks and snacks.The bins are a little dirty but emptied regularly.

What a great place for the kids. The water park was very interactive, nice and clean. A massive sand play area, nice clean sand. A great playground, with lots for the kids to do on it. It's all very well kept, also has a great little cafe there.

Great for all ages, parks really good, and the splash park, my son loved. Basketball and football area and skate park.. lovely little cafe available and toilets available if needed.

Had a great morning here with the kids. It's clean, and tidy and there is so much for the kids to do... splash park, massive sand pit, play park, and plenty of space for football on the grass... and all for free! even the parking was free today (sunday). There was a toilet block, and an ice cream van.We will be visiting often :)

Parson's Close Recreation Ground
What a great asset this park is to the town. Great park, my two little ones love it here. Bandstand used every Sunday during the summer season. Splash park which is completely free, big playground and a giant sandpit. Plus a reasonably price cafe. All in all most definitely worthy of 5 stars.

Parson's Close Recreation Ground
Visited today, the new play area only opened this week so we were excited to go try it out. The kids aged 2-6 all loved it. The council have done a great job of making an inclusive play area so that everyone can enjoy it. As well as the new play area there's a great splash park which was very clean, a big sandpit area and a skate park. Plus a huge amount of green space and the band stand (where there was a brass band playing today). Impressively on a hot day the cafe didn't run out of ice creams and the toilets were decent. Plenty of car parks nearby - Duncombe Drive has an alley straight through to the park. Some photos are from the council site but are a good representation.

Great place for the family, play park and splash park enjoyed by children of all ages. Plus plenty of green space for a quiet walk. Small cafe shop that sells good food, drinks and ice cream at reasonable prices.

Fantastic place for the family. They are in the process of redesigning the playground, so currently limited to what you can do. They have a little cafe to sit down and have a coffee whilst the kids play. A lovely and well maintained place.

Took my great grandson down there. He had great time. All the children were sooo good. The re c was a pleasant and clean environment. It was easier to take him down there. Reminded me when I was a child and the paddling pool was there. Thank you too all that look after it.

Love the Rec and splash park. Always have a wonderful time. The new cafe is great but needs to be bigger to cater for the need/want.
