No 180 Southwick Barbershop

Ive always went to this barber shop and have done for years now but since theyve hired new barbers to work there and aCERTAIN INDIVIDUAL, its went down hill. Ive had the same person twice and ive just been now and had my hair cut off her and its terrible, literally was cutting my hair for around 5 - 10 mins, as if she was hurrying me through, her attitude wasnt the best either. I asked for my back and sides to be 'faded' but she doesnt do that, she just shaves round my head and thats about it! So she either just doesnt listen or she doesnt know what 'faded' means.Its a shame because i dont think il be going back here unless she isnt working there no more. Terrible hair cut from a terrible 'barber', i could have done a better job.Do yourselves a favour and stop employing mongs that cant do their job properly.Bare in mind i still payed the full £6.50 -for a 5 minute butching..Very unprofessional.

Not long moved into the area and needed a new barbers for my 2 boys, one of which is autistic and struggles massively with getting his hair cut. The lady who done his hair was amazing, the way she communicated and reassured him. Of course he did not sit still so she followed him around still cutting his hair as he watched out the window for the buses. So much patience. This will be the only barbers I will use. Thankyou for a 5☆ service

Excellent friendly staff. Great with my 9 year old son. He thinks Dave is really funny.Best barbers in Sunderland.

Couldn't reccomend this barbers more if you've got a fussy little one with a unnecessary fear of hair dryers and clippers lol the staff are so friendly and patient with him & he comes away with a fresh cut & a lolly in hand everytime l.. totally recommend 10 out of 10.

Back of my head is not blended at all, it literally looks like an M on the back. I will be going back first thing on Monday for this to be put right. I wish i could upload the photo and show you's just how bad it is. I was curious as to why she never showed me the back on my head with the little mirror like barbers usually do. I am fuming to say the least.

A fabulous place. Staff are always really friendly. The way they see to screaming kids has yet to fail to impress me. They are always so patient and professional.

Brought my 4 year old nephew for a haircut today. He had a total meltdown in the shop. The lady cutting his was fantastic (sorry didn't get her name). She coaxed and reassured him until he was calm, we ended up sitting on the floor while she cut his hair. We eventually had a happy boy with a very snazzy haircut. Thank you.
