A true local gem.This type of pub is rare these days, a true local that's well used by the community and very welcoming. Best pub in the area for warm hospitality and a decent pint of Guinness for an extremely reasonable price. Definitely coming back soon.

The Fishergate Inn my local pub is definitely a 5-star rating. The pub is run by a local who has lots of local knowledge and runs the pub with pride. It is always welcoming with a friendly atmosphere, friendly staff and a good selection of beer, wine and spirits. At the weekend your never short of entertainment and is also well known for having sports available on TV. Deffo worth a visit!!!!

Lovely place. Started going here when my friend came from down south. We had such a good night with lovely people that it’s always one of my stop offs on a night out. So close to restaurants and other bars. Thanks for being so welcoming x

Nice friendly atmosphere. Mine host and their staff, excellent. If you want conviviality the fish as it is known locally, is the place to go.
