Chique Photography & Makeover Studio

I was contacted and offered a 'free' photoshoot (though you have to pay a non refundable £25 booking fee). I agreed, and unfortunately in the lead up to my day I came down with quite a nasty virus. Under normal circumstances I'd have rearranged but the T&Cs sent out said if less than five working days notice was provided, I would be required to pay the cost of a studio voucher (£99)." I had an amazing experience at the Leeds studio! Made me feel comfortably straight away! All the staff are so lovely and made me feel at ease.. as someone that has a lot of self esteem battles I booked this shoot and build up and help me learn to love myself! And I tell you this totally worked! Felt so looked after! And even after my stepmum had a funny turn they made sure she was looked after and helped me get your on her feet again! Can’t wait to book another shoot soon

After being pestered over and over again in the upcoming week to the appointment, I was quite reluctant to attend but we went anyway and we had a fabulous experience! Form the receptionist being polite and attending to us as we arrived, to the hair and make up artist, they were all very friendly and happy to attend to our needs :) the photographer himself was great! He made us feel really comfortable and we had such a laugh while taking the photos! So much so we took wayyyy more pictures than the usual and they all turned out so lovely :) overall very happy with the experience! And would definitely do it again :)

We had the most amazing experience from start to finish. I was struggling with gift ideas for my Mum, and it turns out this was the perfect idea. The photos that Chique created for us will be cherished forever, they are amazing and we are very grateful to everyone at Chique Leeds. Thank you! ❤️

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT YOU HAVE WON A COMPETITION - IT IS A SCAM!!!! I received about 8 phone calls during the space of a week which I had at first ignored, however I eventually answered the call to be told that I'd won a competition. I was told that I had won a free makeover and family photo-shoot and that I would get to take away a free photo, however I also had to pay a £25 deposit to secure my appointment. On the day the actual photo-shoot was very good, however we were then pulled into a side room once the photos had been edited and were shown the photographs. We were then shown our free photo - it was the worst photo ever, basically it was the very first picture taken where the photographer had ensured that we looked tense. This is clearly done on purpose so that people are more likely to buy extra photos. Then we were told that any other photographs we wanted we must pay for, either £40 each or £1500 for 90 photos or £900 for 45. We went for the £800 package, I am a proud mother who found it incredibly difficult to turn down photographs of my daughter and my other half. When I got home I hoped that there would be a cooling off period so that I could send them back, however in the small print it said that no refunds were available as the photos were on a disc which people could have already copied - again another way to trick you. This company had families booked in right before and after us and we only took 2 hours when I was told on the phone that it would be 4, they must be making an absolute killing out of scamming families or easily led people. I am not sure how they sleep at night!!!!!!! Will never ever fall for this trick again!! What a disgrace.

I cannot say anything bad about this business. I got a call after I applied to have make up done on one of the sites...I wanted to have a makeover since having my second and we also wanted a family photo shoot but could never find time. This studio gave us a Sunday morning app on during a bank holiday weekend which suited us so well. Kids were in good form for the whole 2 hours and my hair and make up were amazing. I was very happy with it. The sets were good, although our toddler was super distracted by all the toys in the room. Drinks were served and there was no waiting around for anything. Studio was clean (incl toilets) and staff were very friendly. The only thing is that there was no air con and it was a very hot day.I have to praise a business that goes out of its way to accommodate customers and also use a variety of techniques to look for customers. Some call is scam unfortunately...I read the reviews before hand and it did not make me change my mind going for this experience. As I mentioned we were ready to pay for the shoot and I wanted a makeover. Anyone who thinks a business team would give away time and resources is clearly never had to pay own bills. We have a set of great 10 pics and good memories on the wall..Thanks!

Would tell anyone to AVOID booking a shoot with this company. The total price was £1495 which we agreed to pay over 10 months having paid £150 on the day. They now want to charge us an extra £135 as they are saying we still owe them money. Absolute scam.

Do not be fooled by this company, absolute rip off. Like all the other reviews on here we were told we won a competition. All seemed legit, rang and spoke to Becky who went through everything with us and told us she needed to take a deposit of £25 so secure the booking. We did this then we received the details via email after this payment was took. What Becky failed to mention was that this £25 was a non refundable deposit. So the free photoshoot we won had already cost us £25 before we even got there. Which we definitely wouldn't have booked if it wasn't for winning". When I contacted Becky again

Absolutely amazing service from start before even went to finish. Spoke to Natalie before hand to book in and she made me feel at ease and really helped me on the day put me at ease before I went and told me whom would be seeing. She was lovely, on arrival i was nervous a bit but was melted by Lauren I went threw a consultant form and offered a prosseco. I was then given a choice of make up looks by ayham absolutely amazing make up he talked to me put me at ease doing that, never had make up as fab as that. I met my photographer molly and got changed into my selection of outfits we went into studio and began the photography she is so bubbly and amazing made me feel so comfortable when doing the shoots she couldn't of done anything better she was spot on. Really made me feel good about myselfDuring the day I was offered top ups of drinks. Whilst I was waiting for my edits was speaking to Lauren and molly and they just made me feel right at home. I went threw my pictures at end with Lauren and made everything very clear to me about packages etc and payment plans and also made me feel good. I would recommend this service over and over again and I will certainly be doing it again as was the best day of my life wow wow wow all staff was amazing.
