Excellent and great value trip out around Coquet Island. Lots to see on the sea. Puffin, arctic and roseate tern, loads of other sea birds, seals that swim up to the boat, and regularly dolphins too. Knowledgeable staff about the history of the island and it's very safe journey. Well worth a trip out.Trip times vary according to the tides. If the sea is too choppy they don't sail.

Brilliant trip out of Amble harbour with Puffin Cruises to see the birds and wildlife around Coquet Island.The crew of this charming boat were so welcoming - and clearly pleased that we enjoyed our trip so much.We saw puffins!!!! I have longed to see these birds since I was a child after my younger brother got taken out to see them in Scotland (I was left behind - something I haven't forgotten decades later!).We saw plenty of these plucky little birds flapping about and diving into the sea - and one even flew so close above our heads as we turned back to the shore that we could clearly see its little orange feet sticking out the back.Several seals swam up to the boat to check us out - looking a lot more elegant in the sea then they did on Coquet Island beach nearby.It was truly magical - a day I will never forget.

What a lovely trip out to Coquet Island. We saw plenty of seals and birds. The skipper was friendly and informative. Beautiful views of the Northumberland coast. As you can see from the photos, we got very good weather.

We really enjoyed our trip out to Coquet Island. We have 2 young children so didn’t want a boat trip that lasted ages. This one lasted an hour so was perfect for them, we got to see thousands of puffins and plenty of seals, some of whom were quite adventurous and swam close to the boat. There was only 12 of us on the boat so we didn’t feel crowded and the crew were very friendly, knowledgeable and keen to interact with the passengers. Pre-booking is essential.

Approx 1 hour of cruise. The location was good and the friendly staff. An excellent view of the island surrounded by Puffin and seals.Parking available paid and display ( limited spaces- £3 for all day, at the time of writing)Cruise fee - £20 pp ( cash only)

Had a wonderful time on the Puffin Cruise to see these wonderful little birds. Would highly recommend this trip.

Had a fantastic trip this morning with my 9 year old son. We saw so many seals and they came really close to the boat. Would highly recommend.

Went on a round trip cruise to Coquet Island with my Dad and 5 year old nephew. Both the guys on the boat were very knowledgeable about the history of the island and the lighthouse, but also provided lots of information about the birds and seals on the island.I would definitely recommend Puffin Cruises to anyone visiting Amble.

A really good valued boat trip around Coquet island. Guides were friendly and knowledgeable and boats well maintained and comfortable.We enjoyed seeing the wonderful wildlife including Puffins and Seals.We plan on booking another tour when we return
