Just ordered off deliveroo food arrived piping hot and there was an extra bag which read, a free sample of our new piri piri chicken enjoy! It was absolutely beautiful, chicken wings and mini fillets never ordered from here but will definitely do so again in future, plain chips lovely too.

Well what can I say! Strolled down here for a chippy dinner while visiting my children's great grandma and wow. These chips are amazing. Service was exceptional and toilets were cool. Fish was a great portion and a generous load of perfect chips. Cooked up some great spring rolls for the wife too as she don't eat meat you see. Next time I hit the sedgley streets i will definitely be coming back. Taste of plaice long live.

I've been coming to Tasty Plaice for many years. We've only ever had 1 poor meal from here but tonight's surpasses that by miles.We had 1 medium fish (£5.50) that was so dry it must have been cooked twice. The batter was hard and crunchy, utterly revolting. The roe was cold and the plain unbattered chips were hard, dry and also cold. The only part decent thing were the 2 pieces (very small pieces) of SF chicken. This travesty of a meal cost £15. We won't be going back.Their pizza is brilliant but never again for the fish and chips.

Food is nice, but unfortunately the prices are really expensive and they don't even give you big portions... Shame as it was great

OVER £17 FOR LARGE FISH, REGULAR CHIPS PEAS AND A KEBAB, WOULDNT MIND THE REGULAR CHIPS WHERE EQUIVALENT TO A CONE THE FISH WAS IN BETWEEN LARGE AND A MINIFISH AND CHIPS FISH BAYTTER NOT VERY NICE, IM GUESSING ITS CHANGED OWNERSHIP AND THEYVE CHANGED OIL TO A CHEAPER VERSION SO NOT GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY OR NOT NICE FOOD, THE MUSHY PEAS NICE THO LOLWONT BE GOING BACK ITS GONE DOWNHILL HERE

Every week we go and order the same food!Every week it’s a different price and some weeks it’s with a drink, some weeks it’s without.Some weeks I get charged for a carrier bag some weeks I don’t - if you want inconsistency this is the chip shop for you! :)The food isn’t that good so it’s not worth the agg.None of the staff look happy to be there either wouldn’t hurt to crack a smile now and again working in a customer facing role lol
