Kyle of Tongue Hostel & Campsite

We stayed here for one night during our NC500 trip and were really pleased with our stay. The site is well spaced out and allows you plenty of grass space around your pitch. The location was great and we enjoyed a short walk down to the water. Facilities were basic but clean and well maintained. This was a perfect campsite for our trip because it was very quiet and chilled.

Brilliant one night stay on our way around the NC500. Staff were super friendly and helpful, the site was immaculate with facilities that looked new and the views were great. Bonus viewing of the Northern Lights as well :)

Delightful campsite on the NC500, super friendly staff at check in with an on site cafe. The site was quiet but completely packed at the same time. the facilities were modern and spotlessly clean. Everything exactly as you would want and indeed expect.

Duncan was very welcoming. By far the best place we slept at in Scotland. The room was very classy, the view from the windows room was beautiful and the showers/toilets were really clean and even though they're shared you retain your privacy. Great place, thank you.

Again didn't stay in rooms so can't comment on rooms or service.Staying in the camping and motorhome site. I found the site welcoming and friendly. Ideally placed if attempting the NC500. I found shower clean with plenty of hot water and toilets clean and well maintained. The best part of the site is the views to wake up in the morning to the mountains and over all scenery is worth the money in its own right.

Stayed for just 2 nights it should have been longer. Site spotless and well spaced out. Taking into consideration the site was full I could not fault how clean it was at all times. Well stocked shop on site with an unbelievable range of essential items. When I asked the owner where I could walk my boxer dog in safety (The site is on a very busy and fast road ) he directed me to land he owned and said enjoy the walk. After returning he met me to ask if it was a good walk. It was superb. Sites like this are few and far between. You can also eat fresh cooked wholesome food in the onsite cafe. We will be back. 5 star rating for the site is really not enough.

Never wrote a review for anything but this place is lush! Was £13 cheaper than 1 up the road! phoned up at 9:15pm and the owners was more than helpful and accommodating for us. Electric hook up if needed and shower/toilet block amazingly clean for a campsite with fantastic views all around!
