Terrible manager, very rude and disrespectful. Doesn't follow guidelines for coronavirus no mask or gloves.@ spar hoo owner I spoke to Farah spar Customer Relations Team saidA F Blakemore & son Ltd own own all spars in this area.

I just pass by today for small snack I took croissant or something from reduce and few more things. When i check receipt after i notice that casher count more for that sweet that she should. I could be mistake but still not nice!

The staff are fantastic in my opinion. Always happy to help always make me smile. Never had a problem with any of them

Dear Management Team of SPAR,I am writing to bring to your attention a deeply concerning incident that occurred at your SPAR store located in HOO (ME3 9AH), which has left me both deeply disappointed and upset.Earlier today, on Saturday 2nd December 2023 at approximately minutes past 4pm, I visited your establishment intending to purchase two items: Tropical Juice priced at £1.99 and Coleslaw priced at £1.69. Upon reaching the till, I handed over a £20.00 cash note to the attendant in payment for these items.To my surprise and dismay, the till attendant proceeded to issue me with £6.00+ in change, despite my clear indication that I had tendered a £20.00 note. When I insisted on the correct amount of change, the attendant was dismissive and refused to investigate or verify the transaction through your CCTV footage.Instead, I was asked to provide my details, with the assurance that someone would contact me the following day. This response was not only inadequate but also troubling, as it left me feeling racially profiled and unfairly judged based on my appearance. It appears that the attendant made assumptions about me based on the clothing I was wearing, which I find deeply concerning and unacceptable.As a member of the community and a senior manager within one of London's respected NHS trusts, I value and respect the importance of fairness, equality, and professionalism in all interactions. It is disheartening to experience such discriminatory treatment in a place I consider part of my local community.I kindly request a thorough investigation into this matter, including a review of the CCTV footage from the store at the mentioned date and time. I am prepared to escalate this issue further if necessary, as no individual should be subjected to prejudice or unfair treatment based on their appearance or any other irrelevant factor.I urge your prompt attention and appropriate action in addressing this issue to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. I trust that SPAR values diversity, inclusion, and fair treatment of all customers.

Rather limited in choice, compared to the other, more popular, supermarket in the village, but has the local post office and a small 'Subway' on site. ATM adjacent to entrance, but not the only ATM in the village, prices are a good average, but not the best in the area, not my first stop for a 'quick trip to the village'. Ample parking at the rear.

Went in here as Co op closed for refurbishment. I stopped going in ages ago now I can remember why. They don't seem to stock the most basic of things. I couldn't find any colslaw this visit. Some things lot more expensive. Other shop in the village despite smaller has lots more things.

Meal deal. Soggy sandwich with todays date on it. Basically just paid £5 for a small bottle of drink and bag of crisps as the sandwich went in the bin! Vile

not even 1 start.......called for help with a parcel that royal mail didn't even try to deliver and left a card, called spar can i speak with the post office part reply was no phone can i help...... I have a parcel that was attempted to be delivered today and is now saying it will be with spar then i get from the rule book you cant get it till Sunday..... what difference does this make when it is now 12 and i will be round at 6pm surely that is enough time to check it in....... what a waste of space this place is, bring the old post office back

These guys are an absolute joke, what is the point in having a post office service that is supposed to be open only to be told that i'll have to comeback in a hour as no one is available to serve, this is a service that they are paid to provide by the post office so ill be reporting them direct to the post office. The amount of times I spend the time travelling here for these guys say this is ridiculous. They always have attitude like its putting them out even when they can be bothered to serve

Nice little shop. They usually has just what you need and the staff are very helpful if, like me, you can never find anything yourself. Also a little Subway tucked into the back of the shop but that can get very busy as can the entire shop from the few times I've been there.Overall, though, no complaints. Would Recommend.
