What a lovely cafe! Popped in to do a bit of work and enjoy a tasty nibble and received amazing customer service, a delicious almond croissant and a pot of tea. The atmosphere was so nice that I stayed on for more tea and a chicken tikka pasty for lunch which I was informed was locally made and was the fullest and most flavoursome pasty I've ever had!Will definitely be making this a regular stop.

Old style coffee shops selling a wide variety of homemade cakes and sandwiches, coffee etc...Great service and the food tastes excellent.Indoor & outdoor seating.

Great little tearoom in an iconic East Sussex village.Sat in here on a rainy day and had a cup of tea and breathed in the wholesome aroma of fresh baking.Lovely attentive service as well.

There are no sandwiches on a Saturday. We stopped here on our way down to Hastings as we read good reviews about the sandwiches we could not find anywhere it says you don't make sandwiches on a Saturday. I'm just letting other people know who aren't from the village like myself.

Excellent range of sweet and savoury pastries, which can be ordered in advance. Certainly not the cheapest bakery in the southeast, but probably one of the best.Tea, coffee, and bakery products can be consumed on the premises or taken out. The bakery has two or three tables indoors and a further one or two out on the pavement if the weather is suitable.I haven't eaten on the premises but regularly shop for sweet and savoury treats, including gluten-free products. 'Judges' is an excellent bakery!

Great selection of sandwiches and fillings. The bread variety is almost unbelievable, and the cafe offers a variety of coffees served by very friendly staff. The cafe is in a very nice village and plenty of parking in a car park 50 metres from the cafe, also available is some (limited time) on street parking.Enjoy a nice break, good food, and a cup of tea of coffee.
