The map marker is actually for the toilets, which at the time of review cost 20p to enter. All the stores encourage it's use, as opposed to allowing the use of their toilets. This, apparently, is to fund the National Trust upkeep of the area. If you don't have a 20p coin, you can use a bank card. The car park itself seems quite small, we visited on a very wet day (not THAT day!) and the car park was near full. The ticket machines (the ones that were working) were making no sense. I paid for four hours from midday, the ticket informed me I had to leave by 10:30am the next day. You work it out!

Love Boscastle always stop off on my way home. Such a dog friendly place and they can go in practically all the shops. Car park is good and cheap plus easy walk down to the harbour

With easy access to Boscastle and right next to running water, it's situation is lovely. There are quite a lot of spaces and some longer spaces for motorhomes (but you can't stay overnight). The only downside is that it can get pretty full in peak times and it is on the pricey side but we would use it again.

I have noticed from a previous review the prices for this car park have gone down slightly and that the times for free parking are now from 4pm until 9am, I think you can stay in this car park over night when staying in some of the local hotels.I arrived about 5pm the other day and there were a few places left still, I had a little wander around not much open at that time really and went to the local pub that has an outside part where you can sit and order a chippy meal. There are on site toilets but I think you have to pay for them. The harbour itself doesn't really take that long to wander around I did it in about an hour but you can walk along the coast from here to Tintagel etc.The witchcraft Museum is meant to be good and there is a nice Church up the hill if they interest you and a few local little shops open during the day, not much going on in the evening though.

Usually park here on our annual visit to Boscastle, but from the end of September, on road parking is free, so took advantage of that today!Very conveniently placed for access to the village, recycling containers, and pay to use toilets. The village contains a number of eating options, a National Trust shop with coffee shop and second-hand bookshop. The village has recovered brilliantly from the disastrous flood of August 2004, and is a very popular tourist spot.

Parked here to do a National Trust walk by the river, then across and upto Minster Church and back to Boscastle. It's a beautiful walk, but hilly. The flowers in spring are beautiful, lots of daffodils, bluebells and wild garlic. Would definitely recommend it. The carpark is great with plenty of bins and toilets close by.

A blast from the past still in love with Boss castle. Not much open at the moment as it's out of season but still a great day, don't forget a 20p for the public loo.

Nice carpark but beware putting cash in for payment. Machine full or not working gobbled up guy in front of mes money. He spent 30 mins on phone trying to sort it out. No people on phone number to sort it out. Of course not they have you're money. Other than that nice!!
