Banks and Burr are a top class Angling company. I have used them over several years and have had nothing but top class service. If you want advice on anything, they will help you no problem. The staff are brilliant,and orders always arrive on time.I will certainly be buying from them in the future

Buying from Banks & Burr is always a pleasure. The staff are excellent, the shop is set out brilliantly, and the range of tackle, sundries and bait is second to none. I have only ordered from this company since the lock down started, but I have to say, the service on their website ordering has been excellent. 3 times they have rang me to say that they do not have some of the items in stock, (which is understandable due to the current situation). But I think to ring straight away and tell you and offer alternative goods is not only good business practice, but it shows that they make an effort which sadly cannot be said for a lot of online retailers. I would definitely give them a try if you need tackle !

I decided to take my son fishing (I am not experienced in fishing at all), so I visited Banks and Burr and asked to buy the equipment and bait, conscious that I needed advice on what to buy. We went there and made a queue to enter. Once it was our turn, I asked for some advice and the first impression was that the person in charge was disapointed of having an amateur in his shop. There were some people waiting in the queue outside, so he decided to keep attending the next person in the queue outside even though I was already inside. After 5 minutes waiting for someone, this person informed me that he would not be able to help me. He said I could shop on my own or come back later. I found this very poor customer service. I understand there were other customers waiting outside, but we have waited in the queue for our turn and were expecting service.If you guys ony serve experienced anglers you should advertise your establishement as such. Fortunately for us the guys at Rugby Tackle received us and adviced us with very good attitude, so we spent our money there. I definetly recommend Rugby Tackle over Banks and Burrs, at least for people with little anglig experience, like me.

Absolutely brilliant service. Loads of stock and if they don't have what you want they will try their best to source it for you and if they can't get it they will call you to let you know. Great on line service too everything I've ordered has arrived the next day and they have always answered my requests. Couldn't recommend these guys enough.
