I really can’t recommend Nigel and his team enough at SWC. Superior knowledge, thoroughly professional and customer care is second to none. His team not only helped sort an issue, the ordered parts to ensure I had the best performance from machine. I really can’t thank and recommend these guys enough for their service.

I contacted Solent Way Computers after my work PC decided to die. To say I was panicked is an understatement, it was a budget build pc and I foolishly had no back-up and feared that I had lost everything! I looked around for a local company to take on the work and I found Nigel and his crew. They were amazing, unfortunately my hard drive was dead but he was able to recover ALL the data that was on there and get it all on to a new pc for me. We have since as a company bought 2 new work desktops from them and given him our IT work going forward. Highly recommend SWC for all your IT needs, they are great! Support your local businesses!

I wanted to share my fantastic experience with Solent Way Computers.I decided to upgrade my machine from Windows 8 to Windows 10. During the process I experienced many issues which resulted in a machine that would not boot at all. I decided to take my machine to Solent Way Computers for them to help. I was able to drop my machine in the same day.After some diagnostic tests they ascertained that my machine could not be upgraded as it was too old. In addition to this they managed to secure and recover all my data from the corrupted raid hard drives.They then provided me with fantastic advice on purchasing a new machine and suggested alternative storage methods for my data.I received fantastic customer service during this experience and would highly recommend Nigel and his team to anyone. Incredible value for money with no hidden extras.My laptop decided to die, I tried all the usual stuff, googled away, but realised this was above my technological ability. I popped into Solent Way Computers laptop and reboot error code in hand. I usually feel intimidated by 'computer' places but didn't here. They explained the possible problem, and outlined the worse case scenario and the costs involved. They telephoned me to keep me up dated later that afternoon and the following morning I received a phone call to pick up the laptop. Outstanding service and great value. My Macbook Air died and Nigel helped identify the problem and fix. He quoted for a replacement SSD with clear price and time to fix. I dropped it off that morning and collected it later in the day. All done!! I am a very happy customer.

Had to use SWC as my laptop battery needed replacing. Was originally going to take it back to Curry's where I originally bought the laptop from. Curry's wanted to send the laptop away for upto a month which I wasn't happy about due to using the laptop daily and use of GDPR. SWC were very helpful and had the battery replaced within a week and updated me when the battery was available, good value for money - would recommend.

After working on something for over two years, I somehow managed to lose an entire document (14,000 words.) I was absolutely panic stricken and had tried everything friends had recommended to find it to no avail. After a call to Nigel, I took in my laptop, he recovered my work in 5 minutes, with great advice on how to keep things safe. Outstanding service and free advice. I can’t thank him enough!!

My laptop was becoming so slow that I was ready to throw it out of the window. Solent Way Computers were recommended to me so I took it in to them. They were very quick to identify and resolve the issues which included updating the BIOS and upgrading to a SSD. They kept me updated on progress and I had my laptop back in two days and at a reasonable cost. I would definitely recommend them, fabulous service.

They have been really fantastic. My son cracked his laptop screen. They have replaced it within 3 days and it's reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
