The treatment we've had has been fine, but parking is an absolute nightmare. On my last three daytime visits every car park has been full and people have resorted to leaving their vehicles in any available space, legally or otherwise. I cannot believe that the management find this acceptable.

I was admitted here due to appendicitis end of August 2023. The A&E staffs were so helpful, professional and kind. A little delay to wait to be attended by understandable as it is crowded.I spent 3 nights on 3 different wards, 1st night at the Surgery ward, 2nd night - Florence Nightingale, 3rd night - Marry Seacole. All the staff here are so helpful, kind and always there for you and answer all your concerns. The facilities is also clean and organised.I had my surgery on the 2nd day and had to fast for the first few days while waiting for the OT to be available. This might be something that can be improve as few of the patients in my ward share the same experience, but again, it is understandable as there are many A&E cases to be attended. There a lots of parking spaces and the charge is considered reasonable, max £12 per day. Also you may get assist from PAL is you are eligible.I would like to thank all the staff, for taking good care when I was there; Mark, Natalie, Zara, Chloe, Joyce, Mason, Dr Imran and all. Thank you!

Attended A&E today and was quicly seen. The nurses and doctors on shift were kind and caring not only to me but i observed their care and compassion to a person who had some cognitive issues and was wondering around the area but still being looked after. Great job guys.

I had a choice when pregnant to receive treatment and give birth at UHCW (where I gave birth to my first child) or here. I chose here as heard good feedback. It was the worst experience ever and my biggest regret. The rude and unhelpful staff completely ruined my labour experience. At 1am I was having really bad contractions I had to beg someone to check how dilated I was (they really didn’t want to) and I was 3 almost 4cm. From 1-3am I was in agonising active labour after being induced, One midwife tried to say they wouldn’t check how dilated I was until 8am at handover and to go back to bed. I asked for medication countless times and it wasn’t brought to me I had to go to the staff room where the midwife was playing on her phone and remind her I needed medication. At 4am still in very active labour and timing my own contractions I asked if my partner could come back to the hospital because I knew the baby was coming soon, was told no. I asked again a little later and was told I could call him to come but he’d have to wait in the car until I was taken down to push. At 5am I demanded gas and air and was finally taken down to the delivery room to receive it (the staff here acted like I was a massive inconvenience, probably because the ward staff had informed them I was only 3cm dilated but couldn’t handle the pain! Not true, and at this point i hadn’t been checked to see how dilated I was for 4 hours) and I called my partner who arrived at 6am. Our baby was born at 7am and the staff said it was a ‘spontaneous delivery’ it wasn’t! I had been in labour for almost 7 hours on my own in the dark on the labour ward trying to be silent as to not wake the other pregnant mothers and no staff had believed that I was really in active labour. The after care from the staff was just as worse, bad attitudes, rushing to do handover and get home. Wanted us out the delivery room ASAP. When we went back on the ward there was building work right next door so couldn’t even sleep after the traumatic night. I cried so much to my partner afterwards because it was an awful experience nothing like how my first was in Coventry.

I had a mini stroke also known as TIA, Karen the receptionist spotted the signs that there was something wrong despite a full A&E department I was assessed very quickly by Dr chugtai and his team and admitted.. it was a very clean hospital unlike many in the region and the nurses were on the ball and very efficient. A fine example of what an nhs hospital should be run. Keep up the great work and chocolates for Dr C and the team on the way. Thanks J

I was in a ward with no windows for 6 days. Some nurses were very nice and friendly and others were rude and genuinely horrible. In future I think I would elect to go to Leicester Royal infirmary as we are in the middle here

There are no words, the doctor discharged my woman from the hospital, looking at the old lady who could barely move without any examination, she did not receive vaccinations for blood clots. now we're having trouble picking them up. this hospital is a tragedy.

Today I was at George Eliot Hospital, specifically the Solomon Macey Ward (to have an endoscopy & gastroscopy). First off, if anyone is worried about these procedures then please don't be, it really isn't as bad as your thoughts might make you think!. Just wanted to thank all the staff I came into contact with, every single one of them was lovely & incredibly helpful. The procedures were done really well aswell. All around my experience was very positive. Thank you.
