The lake is weedy. Lee the bailiff is a wealth of knowledge and will put you right, if you listen to him. I've really enjoyed my visits .

Properly amazing place to fish. This isn’t a water for beginners however if you put the time and effort into your fishing, the lake will reward you well.The Balliff team are amazing and will do anything they can to help you catch during your stay and share a wealth of knowledge with you about the lake and the fish.Be advised there is a large amount of weed in the lake making it hard fishing however, if you listen to the balliffs and apply watercraft to your fishing you will find feeding spots and be in for some good fishing.The lake is clean and tidy and is always being looked after by the team.Highly recommend

Excellent run fishery. Loved every minute of fishing here. Its secure, full of fish and the bailiffs are always helpful. What more can you ask for.

I wish I knew of this place sooner. A lovely intricate thinking anglers water. Work and think outside the box and you will be rewarded with some of the most pristine old carp in the country.It’s not a runs water, these are old fish who’ve had every rig in front of them and seen it all. Do your homework and fish it accordingly.First time fishing had a lovely 19lb common.Lee the bailiff couldn’t do more to help, as can be said for the rest of the lads on here.

My favourite lake in the north west and easily one of the best. Tricky water and very weedy so be prepared to take some time to find spots in and around the weed or fish zigs in the clearer deeper water but the rewards are there for the effort, the fish are all in amazing condition with a few surprises here and there. It’s not a huge lake so easy enough to get around and you’ve got a good chance no matter what peg you’re on especially spring/summer time. The bailiffs know the lake inside out so listen to there advice, don’t be stubborn and if there’s space try and move on the fish when you can and you’ll have a great time here.

Had the pleasure of fishing here numerous times an all I can say is what an absolute hidden gem. Very weedy in some parts but that's half of its charm,if you put the effort in you will reap the rewards as there is some absolutely stunning fish in there. The owner and his bailiff team are a great bunch of lads and full of knowledge about the lake all's you need to do is ask. Can't wait to get back on soon
