Delivery driver was seen damaging my gate post as he left. Contacted Scotch Logs immediately about this and sent photos of damage. Took them 5 weeks to get back to me and refused to take responsibility.Also - the builders bag of hardwood logs i ordered had a fair few softwood logs mixed in, at least 10% - would advise customers to check this.Very unhappy ex-customer.

Having had a new log burner installed, we were unsure who to use for good, quality material to use throughout winter. Scotch Logs delivered on time, excellent quality wood, good prices and professional, courteous staff who handled my questions and queries with ease. Will definitely continue to use. :)

Got 10x handy bags, and two bags of kindling delivered. Just enough to fill my store. Logs burn great. Delivery was quicker than expected and driver brought all the bags into the close before I'd even realised. Very happy, will definitely order again.

I usually get my wood from a local charity, but temporary supply problems caused me to turn to Scotch Logs. Full builders' bags, and nice dry material. During the order process there was a bit of a slip up, and they immediately put it right in a way that left me more than satisfied. I am very pleased with their quality and service, including the courteous reception and delivery people. Highly recommended.

I would give no stars but option not available.I've used this company a few times in the past but now they have lost my custom.Ordering and delivering went without a hitch and I was actually pleased they managed to complete the order before Xmas as other companies could not.On 20th Dec 2022 the bulk bag of mixed wood arrived, I should have checked it straight away but as I was always happy with Scotchlogs before, I did not. As I was busy that day, I covered the bulk bag with waterproof plastic sheeting and left it until the morning of 21 Dec. I started to move the logs on the morning of 21st Dec and found they were very wet. So wet in fact some were spongy and rotten, I tested them with my moisture meter and they were all over 30%, the minimum should be 20‰ or lower. I phoned Scotchlogs straight away but only got their answer machine. Left a message, was told they would call me back but no reply. I sent an email the next day and still no answer. Phoned again and now still waiting for a reply. While I appreciate wood gets wet during transport they shouldn't arrive dirty, covered in soil and so wet they can't be burnt straight away. It looked like they had been scraped off the sodden ground into the bag. Shocking service, really shoddy,, avoid at all costs.

I recently bought logs from scotch logs. The customer service I received was great. I had run short on logs and I placed the order, and received the logs a couple of days later. As a new customer I will definitely be placing more orders. The delivery driver was very pleasant and helpful.

Called them on the number they had on their website and found that it was a premium number and they charged me £6 for the call. messaged them and they ignored me. awful company. Also purchased bag of small pieces of wood - but this was not good as was covered in chemicals of some sort. smelled weird. Burned with a lot of smoke. My advice is AVOID. There are a lot of better companies out there. And tbh if you care about the environment only use kiln dried wood which i do now.

Great company from the owners (Jayne), through the office staff and the delivery guys. Wood is excellent and with the addition of some heat logs and kindling it tops off a great package. I wouldn’t use anyone else. Thanks Scotch Logs.

I had been using Scotchlogs for about nine years but gave up last season with more than a few hard woods moisture readings nearly touching 40%(claiming there around 20% when leaving the depot is highly questionable!!), on more than a handful of occasions. Having to wait to the following week to be uplifted and replaced isn't really acceptable.Like others, I also had to use additional kindling to try and get the wood going. Customer service staff and drivers very polite and accommodating. Now with another company.

Cannot comment on the quality of the logs as the location and opening hours (6.30pm to 11.30pm) on google maps is apparently false.Went to the pin location and no sign of the company, employees working in the business park had never heard of them, reception at the main desk was unmanned (probably due to it being 7pm) the mobile number on the website just rings out, leaving only a premium rate number, which in my opinion is a shady business move in the current day.I'll be looking for somewhere else that doesn't waste my time
