White & Company Removals Portsmouth

Dramatically over priced. Pickfords quoted us £2800 Bishops move quoted £1800 for the same job - Then Whites just sent us the quote : £5867 !?! It's a 3 man job local move for 1.5 days with a full pack... Luckily we got other quotes and were not scammed, but had we been older or vulnerable... Avoid!

I've no idea if they are any good as I had no reply! Guess they don't need the business.

The guys in the vans are fantastic. So helpful and upbeat, they made the experience of moving so much easier. Our entire flat was moved in quick time and they were very accomodating about timings. Nothing was damaged and the guys were very careful. The only complain was that it took the company a long time to collect the flattened boxes after moving day, which took up a lot of space in our lounge and was rather inconvenient. Even so, I would use them again because of how helpful they were on the day.

They give you all what they say they will do but ,its not a100% we had our furniture wrapped in paper and taped ie:fridges/electrical etc clothing put in boxes with other stuff, and put into crates ,it was in storage for about 9 months ,(moved to spain) when it eventually arrived ,and was to be unloaded found it stuffed at back of lorry with new table and chairs stacked on top of one another,plus fridge/and freezer dented my 50yr old vase on a pedestal smashed dented microwave , and when we emailed them ,didn't reply and when we finally got through slow to respond (so in a nut shell would I use them again ( Nahh!! ) .not as as good as you think .

Dreadful experience.The removers bragged about intentionally breaking belongings of clients if they annoyed them or didn't tip them enough.Broke numerous items as well (clearly didn't tip them at all!)I'd rather use my bike to move my house than use White & Co again.

Not a happy customer. They broke our American style fridge freezer and despite us shelling out £150 for their insurance policy they refused to offer a penny in compensation. AVOID.

Absolutely awful, we put several pieces of furniture into storage with this company while we had some rooms replastered and not a single piece of furniture has come out without a mark on it. Some of the marks are clearly made from heavy items being dropped on to them, and they somehow managed to bend the metal foot of a footstool. Completely unimpressed with them. Would give no stars if I could.

Run off the road by driver, company did not take my complaint seriously.

Wasted over a week back and forth with this company, gave them our move date details, decided to accept their quote only to be told they don't do moves on a Saturday and they don't have any availability to do any moves for over a month. So really why not tell me that before wasting my time with the survey and quote process. Very unprofessional and slow communication so probably best we use a different company in the end.
