We had a lovely meal with great service. The nachos were delicious, as was the fish and chips. There is a good selection of ales. The pub allows free sleepovers for campervans if you eat in the pub.Would definitely recommend.

Stopped for a refreshment break on a bike ride, couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming place. The staff were so friendly as were the locals. Great selection of local ales, lager, ciders and gin and whilst we didn’t eat this time, the food looked and smelt incredible and we are already planning a return visit - with the intention of eating too.Dog friendly tooWe visited during the summer but it’s the sort of place we’d love to come back to in the depths of winter too. Lovely log fire, good chat and great food!

You know when you walk into a place and can instantly tell if the atmosphere is good or not well instantly on walking into this pub I felt really welcomed by the staff who do well to make you feel at ease. Stopped here for lunch after a walk and was very nice I would highly recommend this place. Also if you park here to see the seals on the beach at least drop in or have a drink you won't be disappointed. Oh and it's dog friendly.

We ate here and stayed overnight on our campervan. Staff were lovely and helpful. The pub itself is small but with a great rural atmosphere and a dining room and loads of outdoor seating. They have a good selection of real ales. The food was good pub grub. The fish and chips were massive! I didn't manage to finish mine but people with larger appetites did. This is a great pub for a meal or a pint. If you're in the area check it out.

What a gem of a place. The Pub can get busy so be ready to get there early or wait. But it’s worth the wait, we had a selection of starters and mains including kids dinners. The Fish & chips are ‘a catch’ really well cooked with melt in the mouth batter. There is an eclectic mix of memorabilia on the walls all with a story to tell. It’s worth a visit to grab a pint and look at those items alone. You can park here and then walk down to the beach, just make sure you support the business along the way.

Lovely old school, country boozer. Roaring fire, friendly bar staff and loads of decor to soak up. Well worth a visit after visiting the seals (just don’t park here to do that)

Enjoyed my nachos and my husband had the fish finger sandwich. Service was quick and the staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely seating outside where we got to enjoy the views and wildlife. Worth a visit if you’re visiting the beach or the wind pump.

Great location for peace and tranquility, good food, great service. One mile to horsey seal sanctuary. Definitely be back. Loved it.
