The Harvey 2 ward was awful, there were only 2 members of staff worth noting to be good, Jackie (a healthcare assistant) and james (a nurse. Everyone else had terrible bedside manner, the doctors repeatedly got my medication wrong and withheld due meds for hours, the anesthetic doctor was awful as she failed 3 times at canulating me during surgery, popped one vein after i told her the veins in that site were poor (she didnt listen to me) and she tissued a canular and proceeded to inject fentanyl and other medicines into the tissue of my hand leaving me with painful tissue damage that nobody admitted to after surgery. The surgeon I had was good (mr rasheed) but all the nurses I had (especially at night) had no care, terrible bedside manner, they were rude and they were supposed to be monitoring me overnight but didnt do my obs until 5 hours after handover. They also forgot to give me my medication on the day of discharge and failed to tell me they hadnt given it me and didnt remind me to take it when at home.I had an upsetting experience with a nightnurse who came in coughing with no PPE despite me being autoimmune and post surgery, she refused to help me out of bed to use the commode and when I asked for help from a nurse who wasnt going to make me catch her cough she wad extremely rude and intimidating, this was the night following my surgery, she wouldnt even back down from her approach after i was in tears, i thank god for jackie for calming me down as I really had had enough. Other than the surgeon doing a good job, im left traumatised by this.

The parking at this hospital is appalling. Driving around for ages trying to find a space. Seems to be lots of parking for the staff but no where near enough parking for visitors/patients.Also got charged £2 for just driving into one of the carparks and then driving straight out again.Warning to people going, make sure you get to the hospital with plenty of time before your appointment.

Spent time on the cardiac unit , was rushed in with heart attack, was very well looked after all the staff were very pleasant and polite and professional I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to everyone nothing personal but I hope I don't see you again! Top marks to the NHS and all the staffRegards Stephen Shirt

This is a review of the parking only. The parking facilities for staff are so good and they have hundreds of spaces, yet for visitors… there’s never any spaces, forcing people into parking in restricted areas and then getting a ticket? Doesn’t seem right to me. Money making technique at its finest

A big thank you to all the people who helped with my admittance, surgery and recovery including nurses, admin, kitchen staff, cleaners, therapists and Doctors. Very caring and professional team. A special thank you to the young male nurse who helped me through a difficult night.

I've been here for lots of different issues. Always parked here too. Must be lucky with times but not had much of a issue parking. Staff always have been so lovely. Treated myself and my husband very well. Very thankful for everything

Absolutely blown away by the entire wonderful, professional, caring team on the Sanctuary Labour Suite this weekend. In particular, Mel, my sisters midwife! Truly, I couldn't have picked a better person to help bring my nephew into the world. From start to finish she made my sister feel safe and calm even when things weren't going 100% smoothly and I always felt that I could talk to her about anything and ask questions, nothing was too much trouble. I can't thank you enough Mel ❤️

Abysmal parking experience - consequently had to drop my elderly mother off outside outpatients for her to go to her appointment alone whileI then spent over 30 minutes trying to find a space. And why in 2023 do the parking machines only accept coins and exact change, ludicrous!

1.5 hours searching for parking space. Each time I have to stress out that I will not have parking space. Ofc paid parking. PAID HOSPITAL PARKING WHICH ISN'T AVAILABLE.There is a queue of 7 cars at each entrance just waiting. This is normal for UK

My son has was referred to the Spinal Surgery team nearly 2 years ago. In that time we have had 5 appointments of which 3 were cancelled. Have had to chase every follow-up test, and despite repeated messages to the consultant’s secretary, I have never had a call back. We are still none the wiser on whether surgery is going to be offered or not. Have raised a complaint which was treated as a concern, and after 2 months still had no response from the spinal surgery team. Appalling and deeply concerning as health continues to decline waiting…
