Southgate Airport Transfer

I booked a taxi with this company to transfer me to Heathrow airport. I needed a taxi at 04:00 because my flight was leaving very early in the morning. I got up and got myself ready and received a call from the company at 03:30 that my driver was running late. I asked how late and they replied saying half an hour. I started getting stressed because at this time there weren't other options for me to get to the airport, especially with such short notice. I even called and CONFIRMED with the company a day before to make sure I was getting picked up!!!!I waited and waited. The time was 04:10 when I then received another call from the company telling me that now the driver wasn't going to show up at all. They cancelled my booking and I started panicking. I was searching every taxi app you can think of to try and get someone to pick me up so that I would make my flight. I haven't been in my home country in 3 years because of Covid and this incompetent company could've seriously ruined my trip to see my family and friends.For your own good, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If I could give zero stars I would.

Really impressed with your service! Booked two cabs in advance the day before. Both were early, professional, and had great communication at all points.

AVOID.Arrived after a 10 hour flight, no driver. Called told it would be 15-20 minutes. 25 minutes later no driver... called and told don't know where the driver is, maybe 20 minutes more!.... had to get a uber and pay almost double.

I did not have a good experience with Southgate Airport Transfers. I called them for a quote for my trip to stansted. It wasn’t the cheapest quote but the company seemed to have decent reviews. The driver was very pleasant and picked up on time. However when we got to the airport I was asked to pay £24 more than I’d been quoted. I was really unhappy and explained that the quote I had been given was a lot less. The driver didn’t seem to have any knowledge of this, and kept asking my to pay the full fee. I have been in touch with the company since to complain but received no response.

Brilliant taxi firm. I had two great journeys with very nice drivers. I accidently left my phone on the return and after contacting Southgate Airport Transfer, they were so helpful and the driver actually brought my phone back to my house for me! I would highly recommend this company.

Just arrived back at Stansted airport - it is 1.50am, and they didn’t turn up. They got the morning and afternoon time confused, despite me calling them the day before to check, they ‘had our flight number’ therefore they knew it was and early morning 12.45 landing (00.45)The cost of an Uber was £160, there were not buses and no taxis available. Absolutely fuming to be left at this early hour with no transport. Will be seeking costs back for this very costly error on their part.

Ordered a taxi for 4am on Boxing Day from Southgate to Gatwick airport with an additional pickup in Central London. Despite reservations based on some of the previous reviews left, everything could not have gone any smoother. Our driver, Faheem was puntual and professional throughout and the car was immaculately clean. I’d use this taxi service again.

I give this service 0 Stars. The taxi driver turned up 20 minutes late, and when asked why he was late started arguing with me, and drove off leaving me without a taxi for my wife and I at 6 am. I called and Uber instead,. In the end I was glad, the driver was unshaven from the company was unshaven, the car was a mess on the inside and he looked half asleep. When I rang up to complain they said they would investigate, but offered no apology. Poor, poor service. I would rather walk than ever use this company again.

Found this company by chance, but what a gem.2 passengers and 4 big, heavy bags to Heathrow, on a very early morning run. They confirmed within minutes of my call, with an excellent price (much better than Uber)The car was spotless and new, the driver friendly and ahead of time, and even helped with the baggage.Highly recommend their services
