nice place, nice food and nice staff.There are some small rooms upstairs, order at the counter then go upstairs for dinning.We had beef noodles and spring rolls, I like the soup of noodles, quite delicious.

Small restaurant and a nice staff, he told me that the chefs are Vietnamese. The curry is quite hot but delicious. The soup noodles go with rice noodles not pho but taste is good. The staff encouraged paying by cash with discount, it’s vert smart way of encouragement.

From the outside Taste Vietnam isn't very alluring. We wanted to sit down inside rather than take away, so went into the take away to ask about seating. The lady was so lovely, friendly and helpful, answering questions and ensuring we knew what we were ordering. She then directed us to take a seat upstairs, we were able to help ourselves to seats as there was not many people in. The food came in a really short time, and was absolutely delicious. The vegetable spring rolls were probably the best I've tasted and the tofu pho was so tasty. I would fully recommend this place, it's not posh or fancy, but it's really lovely, friendly relaxed and welcoming.

I had a spicy beef and noodle Bún Bò Hué soup. The stock was quite watery and had very little flavour or substance to it. A few slices of onion and chilli pepper placed on top. My main issue was the noodles - completely shocked to have Vietnamese soup served with... Italian spaghetti pasta! At first I thought it was just a type of noodles I'd never come across before but it soon became clear that it's actually spaghetti. Gave the whole bowl a very off feeling. Will not be coming here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone, even though service was friendly.

Special shoutout to John who always greets us kind and nicely which makes the experience more special. Best Vietnamese place in Cov. Been regular to this shop for 3 years and the quality and service is always consistently good. Highly recommended place

Really weird experience. Such an odd atmosphere in the place. Finding it hard to understand what all the positive reviews are referring to.The pho stock was watery and tasteless, the beef was over cooked and the spring rolls were incredibly greasy. No herbs/fresh greens served with the pho. No condiments offered. The bathroom was pretty dirty and service was disjointed. Wouldn’t recommend

Best pho I’ve ever had!! I ordered the beef noodle soup & prawn fresh spring rolls and they were delicious. The pho was so tasty and was definitely worth the price as it was very large. The service was also very quick & friendly. Would definitely recommend this place!!

At first I was a little doubtful at the lack of bad reviews but after trying this place out I'm entirely convinced. Don't be put off by the small store or lack of real seating, this place is a must try!I ordered the beef pho, whereas my friends ordered the curry and rice and fried spring rolls. Everything came extremely quickly.The beef pho soup was phenomenal, perfectly seasoned. Paired with also great noodles it produces a great combination for soup noodles. The portion size was great, especially for this price - a must recommend.I tried a bite of the chicken curry which was also excellent. The chicken was extremely juicy and tender, and makes a great combination paired with the curry sauce.Finally the spring rolls. These aren't what you're probably used to, deep fried and twice the size yet managing to maintain a juicy interior. Absolutely delicious!My only regret is that I don't live in Coventry so I can't appreciate this every day!————————————————————––––––—Above is my review from 4 years ago. At the time there were only a 10 or so, all 5 star reviews. I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised.Since then I'd forgotten and lost the address, only to rediscover it with the help of said friend. Everything I said then I still holds up.This time the restaurant was open, so we were able to sit down properly. The inside is pretty run down, and the server's English was borderline but the food made up for it. If it's a nice day, I'd reccomend ordering to go and finding a nice bench instead.This time I went for the curry and my friend for the pho. Just as fast, just as tasty whilst the portions were much larger than I remeber. Unless you are in a large group, I wouldn't reccomend ordering too many sides.Now that I remeber the place, I'm hoping to return and become a regular!

At first we thought we were going into someone's home. Also it was very empty, but don't let that fool you. The food was nothing short of amazing, with maybe the best spring rolls I have had in my life!
