A compact station that is easily accessible. Be mindful that there are some platforms that are away at the back and you'll need to walk for maybe 10 minutes more to get to it. Good options of places to eat, drink and top up on various items.

A clean, well equipped and easily accessible tram stop. Services to Altrincham, Ashton, Bury, Eccles and MediaCityUK are available and frequent. Connectivity to Piccadilly train station is great and very useful

Probably the most famous and the most iconic station in all of Manchester. It's scenic and magnificent.The stations are clean, the staff is super friendly and there a bunch of great stores outside the station.

Vastly improved over the ages! While loitering is frowned upon, abundant shops for basic travel needs (food, minor groceries, essential clothing, bookstore). Information Kiosk provides excellent advice.

Had a very good experience. I dread crowded stations but Manchester is very updated, open and airey. Facilities are fantastic. Lots to do to kill time, eat drink and shop, before you know it your ready to board your train. Plenty of seating and display boards like an airport lounge.Not a major problem but there are No bins, obviously due to security concerns. Not many people understand this however people leave their rubbish around where they sit and moan at the cleaners, but the cleaners are always on patrol. So the station is constantly cleaned and looks pristine due to their hard work.Once on the platforms though, there is limited places to sit so don't go rushing to the platform if you have more than 10 minutes to wait. Again all is very clean, modern and spacious compared to similar station's of the same age. No grumbles from me. I had a very surprisingly pleasant experience and as changed my perception and will look forward to pulling into Manchester via train again.

As someone who uses transport a lot. I really loved the Metrolink Trams in Manchester it is very easy to find the right tram and also the tickets was good value for money, However i was never asked by a member of staff for the ticket. The trams also come every few minutes meaning that there is never a long wait for a tram. Also on-board the tram was also clean too. I would really recommend using the Trams when in Manchester.

Nice bright station. Well organised with lots to keep you occupied and fed & watered whilst you wait!

If only the trams were colour coded to their lines, but otherwise they're pretty cool!
