It’s great that Langton has free parking for customers. The staff are friendly. We ordered the trio roast - beef and pork are fine but the chicken is very dry. Next time we’ll probably go for a drink.

Fantastic Xmas Festive meal on 12th December at the Langton with 4 adults 3 had the festive menu (Turkey) and one person had the Salmon and from the starter, main meal and Dessert it was all top notch, best meal in a restaurant for a long time. The service was top notchas well the young man who served us was brilliant, very helpful and friendly.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and out of 4, 2 were vegetarian. Plenty of choice on the new menu and all cooked beautifully. Much improved and we will be back!

We had a lovely private room, staff were very accommodating and helpful as we wanted to decorate it with banners and balloons for a 90th birthday lunch. The food was great and served quickly., including one starter which we had forgot to pre-order. We appreciated all the hard work done by the staff, especially Kym, but all the servers were great The restaurant was fully booked, but we received excellent service and made to feel special.

Our Group of 26 had a wonderful Lunch last Thursday. Service good, my own choice of food was good and I noticed that for all 3 courses the plates of the others were licked clean!Thank you to all the staff for your hard work.

We visited here for dinner and everything was just perfect. Beverage orders were taken and the starters and main course arrived on time. The desserts were also delicious. I am grateful for the friendly and hardworking staff. To have an unforgettable experience in this atmosphere, you should definitely add Langton to the top of your list!

I've been going to the Langton for about 12 years as it used to be my local. The service has always been very good and the place itself is always comfy and clean. Dogs are allowed in the bar and the beer garden, the open fire in the winter is just lovely and they have ample parking. They offer a good range of drinks including non alcoholic ones - the passion soda is refreshing on a warm day.Over the years the food has been a bit on and off. I've had a couple of cold meals and the odd over cooked one too. However, since returning about 6 months ago, every meal I've had here has been excellent. The Sunday roasts are fantastic - good portion size and nicely cooked pork - the sticky toffee pudding is one of the best I've tasted and yesterday, I enjoyed the tempura battered ciabatta sandwich with fries. It's always busy but never so that you can't get a decent table. I'd recommend it for a nice lunch with family or friends.

Brilliant place, and totally worth visiting.Love the decor, and the atmosphere.The staff are super cool, and lovely to get along with.The food is fantastic, and the staff are so accommodating!Got to celebrate my birthday here and they went above and beyond!Thank you so much to all of you, I will definitely be visiting again!

I originally booked for a party of 12, through illness that reduced to 8 and further illness brought our numbers down to 6. Each time I called to make changes, your staff were very responsive, professional and empathetic.This professionalism extended to our visit and we all felt we had been “looked after” very well. We had two small children with us and staff also engaged with them, helping to make their visit as enjoyable as ours. Everyone in our group also enjoyed their food very much. A very positive, enjoyable experience at every level and one that we hope to repeat very soon. Thank you.

We’ve been to the Langton a few times now & have had nothing but good experiences! The staff are always polite & friendly. The food is always superb. We went for my husbands birthday on one occasion & a staff member overheard & they brought out his dessert with a happy birthday message which was so attentive! The desserts as well are amazing & look as good as they taste! In the summer drinks on the outside terrace area are lovely too.
