Matthew carried out a Homebuyers report on a 5 year old property for us. In addition to the normal scope of this detailed survey, Matthew was able to comment on additional items that we had noticed during our own viewings of the property. The use of a drone to examine the roof was a new aspect of surveys to us and clearly a plus point. Very impressed by Matthew’s quick response to questions and queries. There are other companies that will quote less for this work but being able to perform the survey in a reasonable timescale is an important factor when buying property. Survey was carried out on the scheduled date. The 68 page report arrived two days later. It was very thorough, filled with supporting photos. It has put my mind at rest and I have taken Matthew’s advice to commission a report on both electrical condition and gas/central heating. If I have any issues, I’m sure Matthew will respond. Everything about our experience with Valley Chartered Surveyors has been outstanding. From the moment I contacted Matthew he explained, without any pressure, what my choices were. He helped steer me through the system (I am not very up to date with computers and am prone to be a bit forgetful).I have received feedback from the person who was present when their house was being surveyed and they were delighted with the surveyor and said that they will probably use him themselves.The survey arrived on time, in a very easy to read format. It was very extensive, with photos.If I need a surveyor again I will definitely use the same firm.

Cannot recommend Valley Chartered Surveyors highly enough. A thoroughly comprehensive 100 page document including photographs for clarity was provided quickly and efficiently thanks to Matthew & Tom. Their knowledge knows no bounds, especially with older and/or Listed properties - taking the guesswork out of one of the biggest decisions you will have to make. Given the work involved with this particular survey, I felt it was exceptional value for money and would not hesitate using them again in the future.
