The receptionists and the nurse are really nice. The nurse is quite professional, if you don't have ongoing issues and you only want repeat prenscription is ok. If you need a diagnogsis they are absolute really bad, the nurse are more capable tnat the other doctors.I understand the covid situation but they aren't able to give a good diagnosis and listen my symptoms after to pass the virus on March. The 111 doctors and emergency doctors are the ones being helpful. Chest problems, sinusitis for months, acid reflux who I self diagnosis myself, ...The female Gp doesn't listen, even other GPs of 111 and emergency doctor telling her she needs to do more tests. She is refusing and being stubbing.Horrible, I called some many times these months they didn't even record what they prescribed me and why, that happen more of three times in 5 months. I am going to put a complain about them. I've never been treated like that, one thing is simple to diagnose and treat. AWFUL.

Coming from a different surgery, I have recently moved to the area and changed to this centre .The receptionists are amazing , the doctors are great.Of all the times I needed, they picked up the phone super fast and accommodated my needs.I can’t praise enough this medical centre. I wish I have been registered here before .

Impossible to get an appointment to see a GP, called for my son, between 8am and 9am. Call is constantly busy, i think they put the phone on the side for no taken calls. As happened couple of time, i been there and no one use the phone and call in front of them and the phone don't ring in reception. What is the point to have a GP as nevwt can get hold of him?

Since I moved to Newport I have not had a good experience with this GP practice. I went there today for my appointment, I rush to get there and was 7 mins late, the receptionist told me that I can't be seen because I'm 10mins late. I said I am not 10mins late and asked her to check if I can be seen. She went and checked, the person said that she can't see me, then when the lady came back I asked her to show me on her watch that I was 10 mins late, her own watch showed 9mins by the time she came back from speaking to the other person. I am so fustrated with this GP if I never set foot back at this place again I would be happy. You can never get an appointment from them and it takes ages to get through to them on the phone. They also need a clock in the waiting room.

Really lovely, patient staff here who go above and beyond.Phoned today for blood test results and blamed myself for the result, receptionist talked me down so nicely and calmly, I really appreciated it.Have had trouble trying to call but they’re busy and it’s not the staffs fault, they’re under a lot of pressure and doing a wonderful job.Hayley the nurse here is a real credit to the profession, I’ve been through a lot this past year and she’s been incredibly friendly and knowledgable throughout, it’s made it far less stressful.

Avoid at all costs. Receptionist is a horrible little cretin with zero people skills. How does somebody like that work somewhere that is supposed to be helping those in need. Absolute embarrassment to the medical industry.

Usually great. Receptionist always polite. Nurses and midwife have been amazing! But, called for my 3 month old son who had a really nasty barking cough. Was told a doctor would call back that morning and was still waiting the next day. I did not want to rush off to A&E as they are swamped as it is and you would think a 3 month old would take priority. Called again and spoke to a different receptionist who informed me that there was no record of me ever calling so, whoever I had spoken to the day before, had not passed on my details to the doctor. Was not happy!

Disgusting service phonned to book an appointment with family doctor, to be advised by receptionist" appointments no longer avaliable

Been having a few problems, I could not have an operation already to go down for the op ect when I was told ECG shows I might have angina I had to leave and see my doctor, who I believe could not care less had another ECG done chased that up to be told no further action, still getting heart palpitations and chest tightening but have been left to my own devices, ifyour lucky you will get to see the nursesWho are fantastic

Never can get an appointment with them. I've been calling for 2 days now. Between 8 and 9 they don't answer or you get a busy tone,after 9 they are already fully booked. 2 weeks ago they sent my daughter home with no treatment after she had been coughing for 4 weeks and they only agreed to see her because I called every week insisting to see the GP. That night she had a high fever and we called an ambulance. She was seen in the hospital and started on antibiotics urgently.
