Buckle Carpentry and Joinery

We used Dave (Buckle Carpentry and Joinery) to convert our loft into 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The end result is absolutely AMAZING -beyond all our expectations. Dave was a superstar. He was professional,always on time, communicated every step of the way, was extremely clean and tidy and would always go that extra mile to do those little things that you wouldn't normally notice but make a huge difference. He was an all round great Project Manager. We can't recommend Buckle Carpentry and Joinery enough. If we ever need any other work carried out we know who to call :)

First of all, we are not affiliated with Buckle Carpentry and Joinery in anyway, so our review is honest and unbiased.We were not recommended to Buckle Carpentry and Joinery but feel ourselves very fortunate to have discovered David by chance having looked on Google.When he came to give us an estimate for work we required, we were extremely impressed and thank goodness we decided to take a chance, because his work is excellent. He is a good time keeper and works very neatly and methodically. Nothing was too much trouble, David kept us updated at every stage of the work and when there was an unexpected hitch, he solved the problem without drama. We can't recommend David and Buckle Carpentry and Joinery highly enough and will look no further when we need a carpenter again.Many thanks to David for his hard work and enthusiasm to get the job done.

Dave fitted new doors and skirting throughout our property. Would highly recommend him to anyone! Amazing communication and nothing was ever too much trouble!

David has fitted all new doors in the house and they look wonderful. He is a perfectionist. He is punctual works all day and cleans everything before he goes. We had a problem with a kitchen unit door after having an oven replaced.It was a small job, but Dave turned up promptly when he said he would. He resolved the problem quickly and efficiently. The door now fits perfectly. He was a very tidy worker and charged an extremely reasonable price.We would definitely use him again if needed.

We needed a new hard wood back door and frame so we contacted David. As soon as we met him we had confidence that we had found a real craftsman who listened to what we wanted and gave us sound advice. He also said that the products from suppliers would be charged at their direct cost without any mark up. This was proved when he copied to us the trade invoices. The job was priced as a quotation meaning that it was a fixed price.We were happy with the price and as soon as David started, involving us at each stage, we decided that we would replace three other internal doors in a style that matched the new back door. I cannot recommend David highly enough having just spent 3 weeks making him copious mugs of coffee - stock up in advance!He designed and built 2 fabulous projects for me, nothing was too much trouble, he is an absolute perfectionist.‘that will do’ is not a phrase in his vocabulary, everything has to be 150%.He is punctual, hard working, personable and beyond clean and tidy - his skills with a Hoover are exemplary.5 stars do not do him justice, however he is understandably VERY in demand so plan your projects well ahead.

I had Buckle Carpentry construct a bespoke set (2-off) of floating cabinets for our main room. The design was specific and well specified. David has reproduced the planned design exactly as requested, they look really good. David provided a quotation and worked to that quotation without deviation. The professionalism and skill that has been applied has produced great results. The room was cleaned after each day and the work area left tidy. I would recommend Buckle Carpentry to anyone needing construction and finishing to a high standard.
