The Heron GP Practice

The worst GP surgery!Receptions are rude and need to learn decorum.It’s also filthy and sinks in there!

Can someone somehow please please close this GP Practice or take note how bad and unprofessional they treat their patients. Can someone higher up in the NHS can please do something about this people. No only you get put on hold forever until you actually end up ill or in the A& E but also they are very abusive and actually causes you so much stress and anxiety.From doctor to receptionists you name it....Please if you are not competent and dont want to help dont be in this roles....

Most of the doctors here are pretty amazing, however that gets forgotten as they have a really awful system in place where it takes about 3/4 months to speak to them. It will take days til they answer the phone just to be told they have no appointments until the next month. Such a shame as they were amazing when i first joined, i will be changing my doctors because I don’t feel i get the service i should. My husband always gets an appointment at his surgery so i shall be joining him there. I also think the receptionists could use some training in manners and customer services, they should have plenty of time as all they do is sit and gossip.

I was referred by my own GP as they never have appointments available and was booked in to have an appointment with a doctor here at Merlyn Vaz, but I believe I may have been seen by a trainee instead. I felt she didn't examine me properly especially as I was concerned about some bruising being visible. The lady also never introduced herself, was quite rude at times, yelling and repeatedly asking the same questions when I had already provided her with the relevant information at the beginning. She clearly was not listening. Now I have to try and get an appointment with my own GP again to see if an actual doctor can assess me properly!

You wait for a lengthy amount of time to book an appointment first thing in the morning to discover the appointment was not booked at all. The icing on the cake is the rude reception staff refusing to acknowledge or apologise for the error made. Shocking!!

Useless receptionist. Rushing you to come off the phone.. you can be waiting for hours on the phone just to get hold of them. Most times they still don't pick up. That's how they treat there patients. Maybe the receptionist should experience some kind of sickness too and wait like for days to get treated so they know how it feels. Also, prescribing wrong medication not letting me know what medication they have given. Ridiculous man!

Can see an effort to improve the struggling system, Anna has been very helpful along with the receptionist Raj.

Receptionist Amee Nayee was very rude. Dismissive and did not want to try and understand what I was talking about. Disrespectful and very belittling yet had the audacity to tell me about respect. I’ve been at this GP for a very long time and there have been many receptionists, some who’ve not been the greatest yet I’ve not had an issue before and have never felt more frustrated than today! I also found her to be condescending whilst talking to her over the phone on a different occasion.

how am i supposed to book an appointment if ur website won’t let me and you won’t pick up calls ????
