I sought help from Jason to help with my dogs reactivity. He has helped with much more including lead walking and recall.Each session we come away with something new to work on which was followed up by a a full write up of what had been discussed, videos had been included which has been extremely helpful.Jason has given me a variety of techniques to help manage my dogs triggers and reactivity, we are still working on this but it has made walking more enjoyable for both me and the dogs.Throughout training, Jason has been easily contactable and is always happy to help with the thousands of questions I've thrown his way!Jason has gone above and beyond to help, even bringing his dog on sessions, I literally can't thank him enough. He has had and still has his work cut out with my 2.I cannot recommend Jason enough.

I don’t even know where to start to explain how fabulous our work with Jason and our dog has been so far.We have a 7 month old Sprocker Spaniel who has some behaviours we want to work on.From the moment we contacted Jason his experience, expertise and enthusiasm came across. It’s obvious he has a love for dogs, helping their owners and has a deep understanding of his profession.Jason is keen to get the most from your sessions and will gather as much information as he can before even coming to your first session. He’s prompt, prepared and puts you at ease from the offset.It’s easy when you’re an expert to patronise a client or even judge. But Jason was completely open, non judgemental and was quick to gain our understanding and experience without being condescending or critical. And as a woman I’m at ease having him at my home or walking with my dog.Needless to say our puppy loved him. She’s a nervous dog and was soon bringing him toys to play and lapping up his praise.After sessions he sends so much information. A wealth of resources that relate to your issues but also dog training in general.If you have an interest in training your dog, have been training for a long time or complete beginner, I think you could get so much from working with Jason. He’s a resource not to be missed out on and if you have behaviour issues with your dog I’d seek out his expert help.

We met Jason when our dog became reactive when walking. He came over to my to see if we were OK. Gave us some advice and a card.We chose to do the 6 week adolescent course. Jason was friendly, knowledgeable and understand to all of the group. Each week we recapped and built on something new. I have seen a complete change in our dog and also in my own apprehension. To be able to let my dog off in a group of other dogs and he he able to come to me with a recall is a life saver.Jason is 100% professional and makes the training fun. Will hopefully be able to purchase more classes/sessions in the futureThank you!

I could not recommend Jason highly enough. Unlike other training session Jason helped us understand the behaviour of our dog and why he may be acting in certain ways. Jason then took the time to explain each training exercise and the impact it would have. This approach really worked and we can already see an improvement after just one session.Jason then took the time to send over additional information that can help such as nutritional information, time sheets and exercises we can do with our dog at home.It's great knowing Jason is just a phone call or email away and is extremely responsive. I could not recommend Jason more for anyone looking for 1:1 dog training.

Easily found the location for the training as Jason had advised using the what3words app.An area within the large open field had already been prepared with the various training aids in place allowing the training to start immediately after a short briefing.Thanks to Jason’s excellent communication beforehand, we had already agreed the objectives, and I had prepared as advised by Jason.We set about the training with my German shepherd, Madi. Training a dog has to be fun and the games that Jason suggested we’re fun and Madi showed an improvement straight away.Having Jason watch my handling of Madi also resulted in advice on improvement for marking behaviours and rewarding.The session was summarised by a comprehensive write up and further advice which I continue to follow, and improve Madi’s behaviour.Thoroughly recommend Jason Cortis Dog Training.

We would highly recommend Jason for dog training. He has really helped us with our understanding of how to train German Shepherd puppy. We have had 3 1-1 sessions and will be booking some more to keep us (and the dog) on the right path.

We found JCDT on a Google search and it’s been by far the best thing we did.He understands our needs and goes above and beyond to help us.We have already made progress with just two sessions with him.He explains everything in great detail and spends time to send an email with all details of the sessions.We already can’t wait for our next session.Excellent value for money and I would 100% recommend him to anyone.
