Staff are fantastic,great enthusiasm, great knowledge and added to the range of products now include the Hippo ecopac 400mls foils.

Ordered materials ie cls timber order no 186382Received absolute junk timber was twisted gouged bent and full of very big knots.Denise Hunter first class service and delivery driver credit to company. At time of ordering explained that good quality timber was imperative and was assured it would be even before day of delivery again need for good quality timber. So the chain broke the person who put the order together was not interested in quality .very very disappointed fortunately first class carpenters covered up most of the problem beware when ordering materials!!!!!!!!!!

Ordered chips from this company who failed to advise they hadn't arrived, had to call on the day to chase order. When they did arrive not what we ordered! Tried to order decking when chased order they had failed to put it through! Understandable that there is high demand due to COVID-19 but communication is extremely poor. Wouldn't use them again! Also ordered & paid for a wheelbarrow which we were advised wasnt in stock, again customer had to chase order rather than being advised it was available!

If I could give this branch of MKM minus stars I would . 1 star is to good for them . I would not recommend dealing with the plumbing manager or even the branch manager as they are like the chuckle brothers without the chuckle bit !! Do not buy any bathroom materials from these guys . 6 weeks I have waited for bits of bathroom furniture to complete a job and all I’ve had are excuse after excuse from the plumbing manager . Well at least he picks up the phone to you , eventually , as the branch manager can’t even do that . And before I see any excuses from them I know it was all in stock from the supplier and I could have had it within 48hrs . I know I repeatedly told them the correct thing I was short on the order and still they couldn’t get it correct . I wish I could go into it a bit more but I’ll run out of space . All I can say is I wouldn’t buy a bathroom from them even if I was getting it for nothing as they would probably get it wrong then blame me for it . To top it all I didn’t get one apology for any inconvenience caused . Absolute joke of a place .

Unfortunately, my experience at MKM was sub par. Went in and paid for 3 planks of PSE (Planed, Square Edge) redwood, each at 5.1 metres. Great. I went round the back and one of the employees took my receipt and pointed towards the wood that was purchased and offered to saw it in half for me so it would fit in the car. Great.Took the wood home, and it turns out the planks that were purchased were only 4.5 metres. Not great, but whatever, it was cheap and I could still make them work for the project I bought them for. They went up the loft to dry, and they immediately started to bow, rendering them practically useless. 36 quid wasted to subpar wood and a subpar service.If you're looking for cheap wood and don't care for it staying in the shape you bought it in, great - go to MKM. If you're looking to buy wood as-is, and don't have a planer/jointer to level your timber out after it bows, warps and bends - stay clear.
