The girl that helped me out was amazing. Helpful, efficient and was smiling non stop. Can't remember the name unfortunately but all the staff seemed eager to help. Lovely atmosphere

Harriet was an absolute star and her knowledge was excellent. I never felt pressured to buy a pair which I think is so important when it is a fairly expensive purchase.

I had visited the shop previously quite a while ago, I knew more or less what I wanted, the person who served me was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products I was looking at. I asked her advice on the boots as wasn’t sure if I wanted the higher eyelet ones or slightly lower ones. In end I chose the higher ones. Also as I was only visiting Bristol asked if she knew the directions to another place I was looking for she was kind enough to look it up for me, and give the directions. Well impressed by the service I received.

I had to exchange a pair of boots as they were a bit too small. Emma couldn't have been more helpful, letting me try branded thick socks and insoles to get the perfect fit in the larger size. All the staff were really friendly and the music in the shop was great.

The staff here are terrible. I've wanted a pair of shoes for maybe a year now and think I have been in 4 times. Always been flat out ignored. Two people behind the counter, waiting for several minutes while they stand talking with their back to the counter.Asked someone else for help, flat out ignored while she stood there and simply watched a child put on shoes with their parents. Could leave the kid and his parents alone for 5 minutes and help other customers? No. Just going to stand there and silently stare them down until they're finished. This branch is garbage, avoid it.

Friendly helpful staff! Excellent advice on boot fitting. Even when we hit a few snags with their in store ordering they were friendly and really chill. Good place to buy your shoes!

Obviously quite pricey, but for footwear that will last years. Good selection of DMs, I believe student discount is available, which always helps.My daughter was looking for DMs, they didn’t have her size that day, but the staff in there were friendly, helpful, patient and efficient. Can’t ask for more than that really. Will go back again sometime soon when we’re next in Bristol.

Avoid if possible.If I could give this no stars, I would.Went in the shop yesterday to get my grandchildren there first Dr Martens, but the stuff were not very helpful and tried to get my grandson who is a size 6, to try a size 5 telling me they will stretch.They then tried to but a size 3 on my grand daughter who is a size 5 1/2, also saying they will stretch. I have been wearing Dm's longer than the shop assistant had been around as I have been wearing them for over 40 years.I will never return to this shop and may even never wear Dm's again. Sad state when they are only trading on there brand name, very poor customer service.
