Very friendly and polite staff who welcomed and said goodbye as we came and left. Quick service, good food. No complaints at all - other than our table for two was very close to a table for 4. It was fine as there weren’t any people on the large table but if there had been, the tables would have been situated much to close and would have been intrusive

Visted for the first time, and will definitely return! Great food at a decent price. We had the 3 course Christmas meal. It was huge!! And absolutely delicious.Loads of parking and seating available too.

This is a really nice pub for dining. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and the decor and furniture is of a high standard.Not a huge menu, but the food is well presented and fresh. Plenty of parking too.

My wife and I visited this pub twice over a two day stay at the Premier Inn and we had four different meals over this period. Each meal was well presented, well cooked and tasty. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the premises was clean and atmospheric.

Great food and great company at works Xmas Lunch. Sea bass was lovely. Dessert was a brownie but was more like a slice of chocolate fudge cake, bit too rich for me. Only gave 3 stars for the atmosphere because it was very empty for a Friday afternoon. Great service and reasonably priced.

Had the chance to have Sunday lunch yesterday. Well....... we were very impressed with the choices and the portions. I opted for the roast pork with crackling and stuffing. We were staying locally and chose the pub for its locality. Thank you to all the staff that made our dining experience a success. We will return for sure. Always good to find decent places to eat that are also dog friendly. Thank you.

Yaaay! Another great eating place to be found on the Isle of Wight! Which after 20 years of coming here is an important point to be made...Service was excellent due to the fact I don't drink so they replaced the beer batter on my fish and chips with soda water ( try it)Great place and will come back

Without a doubt, it was the best burger I have ever had in my 40-odd years!Had the signature stack, which I thought was a bit on the small side with 2x 3oz patties, but oh boy, it was amazing. It's definitely worth it. Staff were also very welcoming, friendly, and efficient.Sorry for all you foodie lovers I didn't think about taking a picture until I had devoured it all.Thanks!

We drove past this pub many times whilst on our holiday and liked what we saw so we booked a table for the evening before we came home. I have to say we were not disappointed. We were met by smiling faces and was led to a lovely table. The food was absolutely lovely all three courses. The young lady serving us was amazing and really chatty and cheerful ( long dark hair).The ambience inside the pub was very relaxing we just wish we had visited sooner.Thank you for a great meal and your lovely hospitality, we will visit again next time we come to the island.
