Lively, friendly and inexpensive town centre pub. Music, live sports TV with weekend disco/ karaokiand live music Sunday afternoon. Under new owners and just undergone renovation. Sadly let down by poor beer selection and no real ales.

Called in for just a drink around 5/6pm. Seemed alright. There were a few people in, wasn't too busy. Would go again for a few more to see what it's like when it's busier for atmosphere

Lovely pub , sometimes you can smell the piss from the toilets though.It's smaller than most pubs but it's got great character and a good enough selection of drinks to choose from.It might look and seem a bit rough if you visit for the 1st time but I'm from the area and not bothered by it , it might seem like it though if your posh or visiting from a posh area.It's well worth a visit and a much better pub than the Glassblower on Bank Street.

A crackin pint of lager. Only came for a couple mid week whilst visiting the area but I'm sure I'll come to this place again. Quite lively as well for mid week....much more of an atmosphere that spoons on this particular night.
