SOMCRETE Driveways & Patios

Diana and I are very pleased with our Drive project. Somcrete have blended their work in with the existing 50+year old stonework in a very clever way that has enhanced the original to give a very impressive and pleasing overall appearance. Sean takes the time to do the job thoroughly - every detail is properly addressed and attended to. The original tarmac and the underlying ground had to be scraped away to make room for a 100mm (4 inches) layer of concrete. Adequate provision was made to resist cracking from possible movement of the underlying ground and expansion and contraction from temperature variations. I know that a high grade of reinforced concrete was used throughout. The concrete work was only completed two months ago so its early days but we are confident that it is durable and will last for many more years.

Sean did a fantastic job on my front garden a few years ago , never looked back always looks immaculate , maintenance free.I spent hours weeding previously, better than block paving . Very liable honest chap, no delay with the job completed in two days. I could not recommend a better contractor excellent job great with offering design ideas to give a bespoke look for your garden . Very pleased with all the team right from the free quote to the completed installation. All well mannered and polite guys, and a very high standard of workmanship and materials used. I researched other options for our driveway and I could not find anything that would match 'pattern imprinted concrete' for the durability and almost maintenance free, and I'll never see any more weeds on our driveway again. It did cost a little more money than the other options but long term its worth it.Thank you Somcrete.

We had our drive done by som crete in November 2021but didn't get it finished April 2022 it was very frustrating we never knew when Sean would show up he always had a excuse when he finally finished we were happy with it to start with then we noticed white patches begin to appear which spoilt the look I tried to contact Sean several times but when he eventually replied he told us this happens with the car coming on and of the drive funny that because the white patches are no where near the car he finally come round to reseal it saying you will see the patches dissappear wrong ! They didn't and he only sealed where the patches were so now were left with 2 different colours ive tried speaking to Sean but nothing I think he's so unprofessional considering we paid a lot of money to have it done were very angry he doesn't want to know so be warned !!!!!!

Sean did a fantastic job that totally transformed the front of our house. We are really pleased with the end result and now have genuine renewed kerb appeal. More than happy to recommend Somcrete and will be using Sean again for further projects.
