The cinnamon buns and sourdough loaf... mmmm! Only bakery we have ever queued for on a saturday morning waiting for it to open - along with half of Hexham it seems. Really great bread!

Great bread amazing cinnamon buns and I cant give anything less than 5 stars. Unfortunately though you can only pay by card!!! So the 5 stars are for the product but minus 5 for attitude.Alas

Despite living in Hexham, we often don't get into town early enough to enjoy The Grateful Bread's produce. Now I've finally tried their cardamom buns, I want to get my hands on them every week! They're incredible and I'm addicted! Nicest buns of any description I've ever eaten. They sell out early so get there in good time (10am at the latest).
