Thought rather overpriced for what was served. Box standard frozen fries. Vegetarian patty in the Avocado burger was mushy with an extremely thin slice of avocado. Male server great, female one not great didn't get order correct.

We ordered the flat bread breakfast which was over toasted flat bread that crumbled as you ate it. The bacon was served raw and had to be sent back for more cooking . Completely underwhelming. Save your pennies

We came here as a walk in for a table for 4, they managed to get us in and the food was spectacular! I’m veggie and there were plenty of options, i made a amendment to my dish and it was no issue for them, lovely service, food, atmosphere and design of the place will come back again!!

I don't have enough words to express how lucky we were to find this place and in the same time, to express my gratitude for customer service at Uncle Fish&chips.The food is just perfect and everything is served with love and care.The portions are huge, but the taste, it's unbelievable. Very tasty, very good.I would like to say a big thank you to Mutu. He was really nice, helpful and the service was perfect. He even gave me a small gift.Also, the restaurant has a very good position. Is in the centre and very very close to the castle.I do recommend this place and if I get a chance, definitely I will go there again and again. The best food in the city and the best customer service.They serve at night as well.Thank you, Uncle Fish & Chips.You are the Best! You rock!

Had a lovely meal yesterday the owner was a really nice friendly guy. The food was top notch, eat sit in chippy I’ve had in years. Got the rest of my family to even try deep fried Mars bar.Highly recommend visiting keeping small businesses going in tough times.

Once they squeeze you in between other tables you'll wait ages for the service to come back to you to take your order. They charge £1 extra for soya milk in your coffee which is ridiculous. Food is mediocre, very slow service. They add the service charge on without telling you. it is optional but they don't mention it to you which is unfair for the customers. Rip-off. Don't go.
